very bad they sold me a wrong belt for my car yesterday. the guy checked the part number 4 times because he sold me it. he said it was the correct one, so I went and tore my car apart and the belt was 1 foot to long. I'm not impressed at all. I'll be taking my business elsewheres for my car parts .

Would have been better if I was never told about the headlight warranty.Paid the difference for a 2 pack when no 1 packs were in stock to replace it.Now they send me away with my burnt out bulb and without a new bulb because they will not give me a 1 pack.2 packs are out of stock and they want me to take a good bulb out of my car so i have 2 bulbs to return to exchange for a new 2 pack at some later date when 2 packs are in stock. This will not happen, I am not going to take working parts off my car. Especially if it is raining on that day, do not want water in the headlight. Please continue value bureaucracy over customer service and doing the right thing. You have warranty on the H11 bulb and you have H11 bulbs in stock...Also, watched another customer exchange 2 trees they bought from the garden center last year and then killed. That makes less sense than someone exchanging used motor oil for new motor oil because at least the motor oil did not suffer from user error.2 stars instead of 1 because they have good products.

Tad cluttered. Aisles very narrow. Stocked shelves are over 6 feet high. Auto section is the only area comfortable. The checkout impossible to figure which register as there's no means of forming a line with ease. Overall. Bite the bullet and be thankful there's a store in the area. Btw. I'd not overly suggest it's wheelchair friendly. Someone will have to exit aisles

A good store to find things you need. It's a Canadian Tire, they got everything from automotive to kitchen supplies, to pet supplies.

Somehow they don't have self checkouts 3 years into a pandemic and have also started removing the barriers between customers and cashiers. The employees you can see will literally run after you to try to sell you a credit card. No masks either, so stay away as much as possible.

Get your vehicle repaired ANYWHERE else. I went to get my CV boot replaced on my truck. Upon further inspection, I saw that there was a bungee cord wrapped around wires and the cv boot. I initially thought that the mechanic had used it as a way to keep parts of the truck together, and was not happy. I called into Canadian tire and was told that I’d get a call from the auto service manager. About 50 minutes later, I noticed there was a voicemail. It had said that the cord was probably accidentally left behind by the mechanic and that if I was to come down at 1 pm, that they’d take it off.As someone who works a full time job, I cut my day short, and made it to Canadian tire by 1:15 pm. I was immediately told by the shop manager that he had said 1 pm and that he wouldn’t take the cord off, and that I’d have to book an appointment. I then stated that I have a job, and can’t be coming back and forth to fix a mistake THEY made. He then came at me and said that if I wasn’t 15 minutes late, then they would have looked at my vehicle.Instead of owning up to their mistake, he put the blame right on me. Refusing to acknowledge that if it not for his mechanics initial mistake, that I wouldn’t have needed to be there in the first place. Arrogance, lack of empathy, and utterly rude. And this is the department manager? I will NEVER go back to that shop. I have instead went to a local mechanic shop, where they were more than happy to fit me in immediately and assess the issue.I’ve been in suctioned service for over 30 years, and I would have never talked back at a customer, or come at someone and lay blame on them, when clearly it was something on my end that was the initial issue. Accept your mistake, and fix it immediately.Drive into Dartmouth, or any other Canadian tire. Avoid the New Minas location as much as you can. You’ve just lost a life long customer.

The staff member I got assistance from, Kim I think, was very helpful and seemed inclined to go out of her way for us and to do as much as she could ☺️

I went to buy a stationary exercise bicycle, there was no price tag on it and when I asked about the price I was told to look at the book that had all of the equipment and it should be there. I found it and walked out the door to buy it somewhere else.
