Mr. T's Fireplace Services LLC

We moved into a new house a little over a year ago. Not knowing how long it had been since our fireplace was last serviced, it was on the top of my priority list to find someone to make sure everything was functioning properly and cleaned. I was referred to Mr. T‘s fireplace service through our good friends, who have three fireplaces themselves (and a high standard for service and care of their home).The owner, Steve was professional and knowledgeable. They provide a two hour arrival window, and we’re right on time (which is much appreciated!) Steve was able to address a safety concern, recommend a company to make us a new louver to replace one that had been missing, and was patient with teaching me how to use the gas insert, along with answering my many questions.Fast forward to this year, when our fireplace wouldn’t start, I did not hesitate to contact Mr. T’s. Steve was beyond accommodating to our issue, and was able to get our fireplace up and running! We can now enjoy the holiday cozied up to a beautiful fire. Pricing is fair and the quality of work is great. I would not hesitate to recommend Mr. T’s!

Wouldn't allow Mr.Ts or Steve near our fireplace(s) again. We promptly paid before they left but then got a follow up saying we now owed more because they made a mistake" on the invoice and meant to charge for an additional 30 minutes. We paid over $800 for service that took about 2.5 hours so I was a bit put off by this. Called him back to discuss and let him know I didn't agree with being charged more after already paying an invoice in full on the spot. He proceeded to (yell) and say he'll charge me late fees (for an invoice I already paid) if I didn't pay it immediately. I told him that seemed unreasonable. He then said he will now be docking his employee's pay to compensate for the error. All of this over...$100. I would have met him in the middle on the discrepancy but unfortunately wasn't able to get a word in edge wise over his frantic yelling. Ultimately

Excellent customer service. My 20 year old gas fireplace looks like new! The pilot light would not stay lit, and the blower stopped working. Steve and Hannah made the repairs, and cleaned all the components. It's like a brand new fireplace! And at a reasonable price.

I was impressed with the knowledge and ability to answer all of my questions. They were fast, clean and I will definitely refer to my neighbors. My fireplace looks clean, new and is running great. Thank you Alyssa and Hannah!

Nationally certified technician with years of experience, thorough, tidy and very competitive pricing. Steve was very good about teaching us how to operate and maintain our gas fireplace.

Spoke with Steve - even though he didn't service my area, he was very helpful in giving me some quick advice on where to find a licensed professional (through nficertified.org) as well as numbers and what to expect maintenance wise. He did this off the top of his head without so much as a picture to go off of - clearly very knowledgeable.A strong recommendation he made - make sure whomever I find in my area is a licensed professional - even ask to see a license. Apparently it isn't rare to find a fireplace inspector without a current license.

Beware

My new neighbors said that I should give Mr T’s a try when I mentioned to them that the fireplace in our new home was in rough shape and very dirty. I called and made an appointment and I have to say the job they did was amazing. The fireplace almost looks like new. Plus, they were very careful, laying out rugs etc, prices were very fair and they took time to show me how to properly use it. They also have a summer discounted cleaning program I intend to use. Very pleased.

Cleaned and fixed my gas insert. Very knowledgeable and professional. I will continue to use them for future fireplace issues.
