Cozy little cabins close to Mistaken Point. Very clean with a nice view of the ocean.

I walked the beach the first evening. Finding shells and stones unique to the shoreline.The quilt on the bed, was the first time I've ever wanted to steal bedding from a place I've stayed. It was that little taste of home when you're far from it.The showers a bit tight but manageable. It is afterall a tiny little house. The bathroom was bare bones but somehow anything more would have seemed ostentatious. It fits the space and that just tied the whole place together. The view out the big window was lovely obviously, there were ear plugs incase the fog rolled in and the fog horn would need to go off. Which is for some, an unnecessary addition. But the fact they had them was appreciated.The second day I went up the road picking blueberries. The barrens are right there, the ocean is right there. The birds, the whales, the moose and sometimes caribou, are all right outside the door.As long as the cabins stay there, I'll keep coming back to visit.Local store has anything you'd need. Just up the street.5/5
