Gow's Home Hardware

Gows used to be a go to for gift ideas, and Decor, their Christmas village was something talked about for months leading up to the season, while these sections were never large in size there was something for every occasion and they made great use of limited…since they have moved locations I have been in a few times looking for Christmas and and most recently Mother’s Day trinkets, it is very disappointing that this no longer exists in a capacity worth stopping

This place is awful. Under old ownership it was a great place. Today I was in, line up to door. 2 cashiers, and 1 went for break. I tossed my stuff aside and left. I went to Kent, and got the same item, for less money. Gow's Home Hardware sucks!

Staff are exceptional, friendly,and very knowledgeable. If doing a project they can actually suggest other possibilities to complete it in a professional way.

Not so friendly as stated, even go so far as to say more on the side of discriminating those who seem to be handicapped or disabled. Returns are NOT very well accepted as I found out the hardware, especially since it is no longer run by the Gow family.

Often when visiting Gow's I find other useful items I could use. Overall I am pretty satisfied with the selection Gow's offers.

Ripped-off on cleaning vinegar. I saw the sale sign posted directly below the cleaning vinegar, I get home and check my receipt and I paid $1.00 more for each one, that's not cool in my opinion, if these kinds of small mistakes are happening I guarantee larger mistakes are too, Bucks' H.H. from now on for me.

Clean, knowledgeable staff and if they do not have it, it can be ordered.

Mostly a 5 star. But this morning I called to have 4 u bolts ordered they did not have in stock. I was abruptly told we don't handle those here,Item: #2407-414 Model: #BH-347807, and I can't order them for you.I called Chester Home Hardware, they checked and asked how many I needed as there are plenty at the warehouse.Mike

We had had a huge dump of snow and after a whole day of moving snow we decided we needed to buy a snow blower. We had had one before so we knew something. We did some research and also looked to see who had one in stock as close to Annapolis Royal and was open on Sunday.According to the web Gow's Home Hardware had 2 in stock.So on Sunday morning we called and spoke with Robert, He confirmed that there was two in stock and provided he was not on lunch he would be there when I got there.So I drove from Annapolis Royal to Bridgewater. Robert was both very informative and lots of fun. He is an incredible source of knowledge. He made sure that what I thought I wanted was what I should buy.I then picked up the snow blower from the dock and that person was also great. I also had a good experience with the cashier. She collected my details for the warranty and was a very pleasant person.This is an awesome store with at least three great associates.

After looking around for Black Friday deals we chose Gow's. We ordered online for a dishwasher and a fridge. We received an email confirmation. By January We didn't here back so I stopped into the store to find out what was going on. I was rudely told we didn't order through them but we ordered through their online store..????....I showed them the confirmation email saying Gow's Home Hardware.Then they said I'd cancelled the order.....???? After talking to the manager I was told we'd get our stuff in early March....We got the dishwasher mid March and the fridge today......April 14....its a good thing we only wanted to update to a new fridge and didn't need a new fridge......We'll go elsewhere next time.
