I would like to thank Mrs. Ghada for her professional and nice service for the customers of HSBC.

This is the usual branch I visited. Mostly the people are friendly. During pandemic, the only comment I have is about the security. They station at entrance to control the in/out. However, they are controlling the door by a manual door lock. Every time they open the door, they are at the doorway and is getting too close to customer. This is a major issue for both the security and customer as there is not distancing at all....This is absolutely not compliance to standard health requirement. I would suggest to install a door operator allowing the security to control the door in a reasonable distance and keep all customers safe.Besides, HSBC should look into their app for cheque deposit. I used the app bit it was not working well. I experienced difficulties to photo the front of the cheque but the back was ok. I tried so many times in vain. That's why I have to visit the branch.Would someone look into the app to make sure it is functional. .

Yesterday I went to the branch to open an account and deposit cheque $60k the manager said sorry you don’t have an appointment I said I want to deposit not withdraw he said sorry.Simply I went to TD bank and in 5 minutes open an account and deposit my cheque and the manager brings a cup of coffee to me .That’s the difference between the 2 managers.Bad experience.

Staff is very cooperative and polite. Depending upon the time of the day , sometimes it may take longer to get to the teller. Overall it’s pleasant experience.

My worst banking experience in Canada specially for this location employees. You have to be Chinese before you go there

Never bank with HSBC! Poor service overall. Difficult to contact actual branch ... numbers given are for online banking or the call centre. Such poor customer service to rely so heavily on call centres. Customers want to deal directly with their branch and people they know and have talked to face-to-face.

Very pathetic. Gadda the gal who had to open up account was rude. No customer service skills. Had appt. Made faces saying call center gave her 1.5h. To add wife into joint account said needed another hour. Refused service saying she had another client an hour later who I doubt would be catered too. Manager was nasty too. Bank had no client as it's filled with attitude. Give it zero stars.

Kind of a difficult to deal with. Their policies are very strict. Ex. If I want a mortgage they will assist me even though I'm NOT a client with HSBC, yet if I want to buy or cell foreign currency, they won't look at me

I applied on 2022-8-10 Wednesday onlineSo I wanted to go get the debit card and show other ID cardI went today Thursday and I saw how undeveloped I this bank is + requires many documents that no any other banks ask and very slow in processing.I canceled my application and I can’t recommended if if not mandatory for youThere are many other banks which provide services with less inquiries.Bad experience

Service is super slow it takes forever with each client n most of the tellers are not on the desk no matter what time of day you go
