Just some food for thought…The place is great and has a good vibe to sit in and eat. However, the staff is so unorganized which perpetuates stressful feelings for staff and costumers alike. We ordered 1 pizza for pickup half an hour before we were set to arrive, and did not leave until 20 minutes after our set pickup time at 12:00pm. The place had about 6 other costumers in the building, all the while the manager Clara is hollering about no more pizza phone orders because it is ‘too much’. I don’t know why popping in a frozen pizza is too much work, unless you would rather have NO costumers. The hostesses taking the order of new customers literally said ‘are you good with waiting awhile we are busy’. Which is upfront however there is a nice way of making people feel welcomed into the place despite the wait for food.I like having a nice bistro in Elkwater to stop at to eat, but if I am faced with mediocre service and food from a freezer it may be better to just wait till we get home to eat.P.s to the staff- all hair of staff who prepare food should be fastened by a pony tail or be in a hair net otherwise, and clothing of staff who prepare food should not be baggy to prevent material ending up in food. Just in compliance with food safe rules.

Friendly staff, great food, nice atmosphere. Staff were very accommodating of a dairy allergy and super friendly. Love this place!

Food was good and served hot. Good selection of beer and wine. Friendly staff. Great homemade pizza! Close to Cypress Hills. Highly recommend.

The only and great take out, off sales beer, grocery store, fuel place in elkwater at then trance of the Provincial lake camp ground. It has everything include water toys. Propane, gas, diesel and even fire wood.

We went for dinner and then came back for breakfast the next morning. The maple latte and bacon breakfast sandwich was delicious! Also the House pizza was great too, so cheesy. Definitely recommend stopping in, if you’re in Elkwater!

Local watering hole for campers & cottagers in the Cypress Hills/Elk Water area. Decent experience, they serve beer from the Medicine Hat Brewing Company. Food was basic (no frills) but there’s a large selection of tea and coffee options available. Service was slow. Atmosphere was very pleasant.

Really nice little spot, sat outside, didnt stay long.. quick beer after a bike ride. Oh.. and an ice cream cone.. excellant ice cream.. huge scoop

Stopped in here for supper after a day of skiing. The food was delicious, especially the pizza. The next day we had breakfast and it was also very good! Love the atmosphere and staff was super friendly!

The folks working here were very overwhelmed so it was a bit of a wait but our breakfast sandwiches were good. We really liked the outdoor patio space with a little playhouse for kids! Made eating with a toddler so peaceful. The patio is surrounded by big green trees, really lovely place to be. There are also kids toys available inside and of course there’s the gas station on the other side where you can get all kinds of camping gear, some groceries, treats, worms, bags of ice.

Such a cute place to grab a coffee, baked goods, or quick bite to eat with your best friend. We grabbed an ice cream cone after our picnic by the lake.
