Shoppers Drug Mart

It was my first time being at a pharmacy.So I was wondering and have asked kindly what is the reason for me to wait, the response was “we are processing your order, we already told you, go to the side and WAIT THERE PLEASE” ok. I waited around 15 mins and went to counter again, they said that, they are busy and can’t help me I should just wait. I told them, I have waited long enough and want my prescription back to go to another pharmacist in the area, and kaboom! It turns out I can take it in 5 mins now??? What about all the people waiting without complaining? A pharmacy shouldn’t work on complain basis. My intention was to go away literally but they didn’t give my prescription back and made me wait another 5 (actually 20) mins.

Get your Rx filled elsewhere. I have called this place numerous times about missing pills and refilling an Rx. They can't be bothered to call you back like they said they would. And transferring them to another location? Don't bother waiting for them either! They take their sweet time to not do their job and make it an inconvenience to get the meds you absolutely need.Even during the times where I've received a text message saying that the meds are ready for pick-up, we've had to wait nearly 30 minutes to get them!

Spent 2 hours on the phone the indian guy who answered couldn’t understand when i said i wanted to take half a quantity of 100 of my medication, i literally explained it 5 times (no joke). Towards the end of the call, it seems he understood it. I get to the pharmacy now, they didnt split the quantity, i told them i waited 2 hours on the phone to explain this to you guys 2 days ago. The younger indian guy tells me id have to wait 45-1hr. I said no get me your manager. The manager prepared it within 5 minutes for me. I think these younger guys they hire at this location seem to not care at all. I had 3 issues in the past 4 months with them, yet nothing had been done. Im finally going to write a letter with my audio & call recordings to the CEO. Theres no way somethings not being done. This is the worst pharmacy location compared to any pharmacy ive been to.

No stars. I went in to pick up an automatic refill prescription only to learn that the brand name had to be used because the generic was not available. The difference in price is $170.00 more for the brand name, and I don't have a health plan. I ended up taking one half of the product while trying to find the generic at another pharmacy. The pharmacist suggested some options. Here's the kicker - - I am eligible to receive a fee waiver (called an STI card) from the company that makes the generic version in instances such as this (when there is no product) and the pharma company pays for that. The pharmacy where I have transferred my prescription not only informed me of the STI card, but even took care of the reimbursement so I wasn't out of pocket. Oh - and they delivered my script the same day, no charge. The pharmacists (two of them) at SDM didn't even mention the STI card. I strongly recommend using another pharmacy. And SDM, you owe me about 90 dollars for the half prescription I filled at the brand name's regular price last night. Honestly! Here's some follow-up to this post. I called the 1800 SHOPPERS number, and all they did was listen to my complaint, and said they will consider how to improve things. Honestly, the best thing to do is shop elsewhere.

I have been trying to call this location for almost a month now but no one answers. I simply want to cancel my prescription so that I can pick up from another location as I have moved to other province but the service is pathetic!!

Horrible experience at the Post Office at this Shoppers location. Asked the Post Office Clerk if they had sponge for me to seal an envelope and he rudely replied no. As I started writing on a new envelope, he brought over some label adhesive for me to seal (nice gesture but would have been nice to tell me so Indians have to waste another envelope). The rest of the interaction was impersonal as I wrapped up. I would not go here again if I can help it.Partly, the feedback is for management to at least offer some option to seal envelope, especially when you sell envelopes there!

The store itself is fine, it’s the pharmacy that’s completely useless. Always understaffed, never answers the phone and never has anything in stock. Do yourself a favor and fill your prescriptions elsewhere.

The number of one star reviews tells the entire story. I've been going to this Shopper's Drug Mart for years. The service has been getting worse, and yesterday, it hit the lowest of the low.They are understaffed, disorganized, rude, and don't care about their customers. We waited well over 20 minutes for a prescription that was sitting on the counter, because they had one person searching for something that was misplaced, while the other two staff worked slowly not attending to the burgeoning line.I asked at fifteen minutes if we could get some help, and the assistant behind the counter said -- One moment -- I will be with you." I don't know how long a 'moment' is in his mind

This is the worse Shoppers Drug ever. Order online don’t work, CALLS they dont pick up and lines on tend to be long at rush hour. All of the previews reviews are accurate! 1.7 rating and not embarrassed, won’t do anything about it! Yup am moving pharmacy!

This place Victoria park and Danforth should be avoided at all times if possible never assume that all shoppers drug Marts are the same that's a mistake that i made having dealt with the one at McCowan and Ellesmere for many years and had excellent service from the pharmacist there. However these people have no regard for the customer. If it was possible to give no stars that's what they deserve
