Fundy Discovery Site

Great place to see the tidal bore, but how strong it is depends on the phase of the moon. When I was at the location the bore was tiny but still noticeable. There are other facilities here like playground, washrooms, an outdoor amphitheatre, and hiking trails. Plenty of benches that faces the river.

Good park for kids. Bathrooms are open year round. But it better be summer because the wind is crazy.

I decided to rewrite my review. It wasn't very informative. Anyway after my most recent visit yesterday to see this phenomenon, I came away just as glad to have experienced it.The Discovery site itself is much better than my first time there years back. Way back then, it was just a spot that folks gathered to watch the total bore.Now it has been transformed into a beautiful park for the whole family. There is a play area for kids. A nice walking path. A nice little learning area. As well as benches to watch the tide come in as that wonderful wave begins the fast filling from a mud base to a full canal. All in the span of ten or so minutes.The folks in the building even yell out to give you he heads up that the wave is coming. We had a nice cup of coffee on the bench for our viewing pleasure.This is a rare thing to experience throughout the world. So do yourself a favor and take the time to experience it.

Conveniently located tourist information stop where you can see the biggest tidal changes, if you have time to wait and watch. On the west side od Truro, right next to the highway, where you can take a break and stretch your legs.

Stopover in the way to Bay of Fundy. Must be impressive when the tide is out. The announce the exact hours.Apart from that, it's more about the information that you can get and what you learn then about what is to see outside.

The tidal bore was really cool to experience and the staff were very helpful. The playground is AMAZING! A great spot to stop at when traveling through with kids. The washrooms are very modern and clean.

It is a beautiful place to go with friends and family to see tidal bore. There are good facilities like drinking water and washrooms. The playground is amazing for kids. I will definitely visit again to get some fresh air and peace of mind.

Wonderful playground for our little ones with the added bonus of seeing an amazing natural wonder meters away.
