The inside was tasty but could NOT chew the outer skin....disgusting to sell these as is....people could choke on the liner of this sausage, I will definitely take them back to the store. We always bought Schneiders but not anymore if this is what Maple Leaf Foods hands out

I was hired to work at one of the plants and had to spend over 8 hours of safety training emphasizing cross contamination. When I started work, my job was to remove expiry dates and make new ones on product that was defrosted already. After that, I was on a line that vacuum sealed the frozen sausage patties, some of the bags were torn and from my training, that would have to be disposed of, but I was told to use them. Buyer beware that you are not getting quality food as they promise. It was downright frightening how much landed on the floor, yet was still used.

I have been buying for a long time Maple Leaf Prime Raised without Antibiotics Canadian Farm Raised Chicken Thighs and they are the best, taste so good, everyone should give them a try. I bake them in the oven with salt, rosemary and black pepper and olive oil :). My favorite chicken tighs and my family loves them too.

I bought maple leaf branded pork chop from Walmart. Like the other commenter had pointed out, they always present you the best pieces of meat from the outside. When you open up the packaging at home, you will find that they hide the bad pieces behind the lable or on the second layer. This ALWAYS happens pretty much 9/10 of times. Very low and disgusting business practices. I know this address might not be directly responsible for this, but this is the address on the lable which is used to cover up the bad piece of the meat, so you get this negative review.

IF YOU ARE THE MEAT SUPPLIER FOR WALMART EDSON, SHAME ON YOU. I BOUGHT 2 PACKAGES OF PORK LOIN CENTER, RIB & SIRLOIN CHOP (COMBO) FROM WALMART EDSON - VERY DISAPPOINTED THE TOP 2 CHOPS WERE NICE LEAN CHOP LOOKED VERY NICE. HOWEVER ALL THE OTHER CHOPS IN THE PACKAGE WERE FULL OF FAT & GRISTLE...LOOKED LIKE SOMEONE TOOK A BASEBALL BAT TO THEM. I AM 3 HRS AWAY FROM THE CLOSEST WALMART SUPERCENTRE. FINISHED WITH WALMART MEATS. GARBAGE
