Universal Septic Services of Clarkston

We are looking to buy some new commercial property in Holly, MI and we hired Universal Septic to do a perc test on our new property. The price was very fair. Cheapest I found in the area. Everything was professional from start to finish. All new equipment made me feel as if I hired the right company and not just a fly by night company. We emailed back and fourth and even our invoice was all done through email. Was extremely happy and would recommend anyone hire the for any septic system services.

Eric and his crew did a great job. Everything from setting up our perc test, getting the application completed, and sending over a timely estimate. Then getting the jobs done in a timely manner. Only took a couple of days to have a completely new septic field. Great job

So our septic field at our office failed us one day out of no where. This could not of been worse timing for us. We could not use your employee restroom or water for that matter. We were lucky enough to find Universal Septic to come out and make our situation much better. They came out withing the same day to look at our septic problem. Within one day we received a quote and they started the work that same week. In two days we had running water again. Thanks a lot!

I called Universal Septic last week, and explained to the lady that answered the phone that I needed to have my septic pump replaced. I was told that they wouldn't be able to do the repair same day, as they would need to inspect the pump to figure out what size it was. The appointment was set for 10 to 12 arrival time this afternoon. I am selling this property, and do not live in it, so I had to sit there, and wait for them to arrive. As 12 o'clock rolled passed I called to get an ETA, no answer. I called four more times between 12:15 and 1:00, before I finally got an answer from a gentleman named Eric, who answered the phone as if I was bothering him. I asked him if anyone would be coming out as it had now been an hour past the appointment time. He tells me that he was stuck at another job, and someone should of called me to reschedule. He then goes on to ask what the issue I was having was, and when I told him, he says they don't even do that kind of work, and said the lady I spoke to on the phone was new, and wouldn't have known that. He gives me a number to someone else that can, and did apologize for this misunderstanding. While on the phone both Eric, and the young lady I set the appointment with were nice enough (besides when Eric answered the phone today), I find this whole situation extremely unprofessional. First, your office staff should be fully aware of the services you provide. Second if you aren't going to make it to an appointment, you should let that customer know! I am selling this property, and have deadlines, and this situation may have just costed me the current offer on it! I do not recommend this business at all! Especially if you're in a time crunch.
