This clinic truly cares about their patients. Shelly helped me get everything booked and was so understanding of my busy schedule, she was wonderful and answered any questions I had. Dr. Vorster was so lovely and understood my anxiety I had going in. My previous removal and insertion was quite traumatic and Dr. Vorster made me feel validated and took such good care of me. I couldn't believe how quickly and painlessly she had everything finished. I've never felt so well cared for by a clinic before, I truly can't express my gratitude enough. This clinic is so important to have for the women in the Okanagan and I will be recommending to all the women in my life.

This clinic is truly a gem for the women in the Okanagan. I have been there twice and I have received the best care I have ever had. I went for nexplanon removal with Dr.Best, highly recommend! Everyone there is so friendly and she made me feel super comfortable. I had a bit of fear and anxiety about the whole procedure but she was so calm and talked to me through the whole procedure. I'm really happy I chose to come here!

honestly I feel pretty badly about my appointment as it felt rushed. I had opted to get my cervix frozen before getting an iud removed and replaced, but the procedure continued to happen immediately after being frozen, so I’m not sure if I was even numb yet. I have a high pain tolerance but for me, the pain was a 9/10 and lasted that way for a decent period of time... I remained calm but at one point stated the pain was really bad... she seemed to kind of ignore me and finish the procedure; which I didn’t mind and the pain wasn’t her fault anyways, but once it was over she said “your all done” and quickly left the room... I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to lie down for a while since I felt very faint or if I was meant to get up and leave, I waited a few minutes and then chose to leave, when I stood up to get dressed I had a heavy amount of blood fall out all over my shoes and the floor and ended up scrubbing it off of the floor with tissue in the office, I wasn’t offered a pad before getting up and wasn’t expecting that amount of blood. I went into the office without feeling nervous and I ended up crying the whole ride home due to feeling uncared for:/

This clinic is amazing, and as other reviews said - they truly care about their patients.From great communication with Shelley to the consult with Dr. Vorster and the in-person appointment with Dr. Best, everyone is lovely and took away any anxiety I had. Everything was extremely well organized too, which was super helpful with a busy work schedule.Highly recommended, the Okanagan is lucky to have this clinic!

I was honestly super worried about getting a IUD, friends told me it was super painful and that it wasn’t a good experience. I was referred to this clinic and did quit a bit of research and ended up booking with Dr. Best. I am so beyond happy that I chose this clinic, shelly at the front desk was super helpful and answered questions before I spoke with Dr. Best. She was helpful with booking the appt and sending all the information packets was great. My phone consult with Dr. Best was awesome she took time to really go through everything with me and was super patient. I let her know my worries about the appt and she was super kind and respectful throughout the whole procedure. The room had stress balls and a heating pack to keep you comfortable. I had no pain, there was one small pinch for less then a second and she let me know when it was coming. she said there would be two cramps when it’s being inserted but I honestly didn’t feel them, taking 2 extra strength tylonal and 2 aleive a hour before was the way to go! Thanks so much for the wonderful experience!

I had a very good experience overall at this clinic! I was a bit nervous going in to get an IUD for the first time but whole process was simple and everyone was very kind. Dr. Vorster was awesome and made sure I felt comfortable throughout the whole procedure. I definitely recommend, thanks again!

I had the most pleasant experience at Okanagan Women's Clinic - starting from making my appointment with Shelley, phone call with Dr Bielas, and the procedure with Dr Best. Dr Best was extremely gentle and super sweet. The doctors here really care about what they are doing and are skilled at their craft. I barely felt any pain during my IUD insertion. Clinic is clean, and they even have stress balls and a heating pad ready to go to make the experience a little less stressful.

I'm so thankful we have this clinic as a resource to use.Every single person in the clinic is beyond professional, from the office admin to the doctors.I've now had two insertions with them and each experience has been fantastic. Online there are MANY terror stories of IUDS and honestly I can't relate to any of them.The doctors are very gentle spoken and explain the process if you want them too, or are quiet and allow you to be in your own zone.I have had doctor best and doctor vorster and I would hands down reccomend either of them again!Thank you Women's Clinic for making an uncomfortable procedure much more comfortable, and really a breeze. It's an absolute pleasure to be your patient.
