Kevin was great to work with! He was able to help my dad within the hour and debugged what was preventing his car from starting, so he didn't need to tow the car and ended up saving us money! He was very responsive, friendly, honest, and helpful with recommendations on a new mechanic too! Definitely would call again and recommend if we need towing services!

My SUV wouldn't start and needed to leave its spot or it would get a ticket the next day. I tried to use my other car to jump-start it, failed. Put a new battery, failed again. Then, at 10:30 pm, I called Kelvin, who helped me out about six years ago (aka Vancity Towing), he was busy but promised to drop by to have a look without charge. When he came, he asked a few questions and tried to start the car, after a few tries, he made it but pointed out it's time to replace the starter. Now I can drive the car home to avoid the ticket. Many thanks to Kelvin's rescue and highly recommended!!!!!

First off, I called these individuals first thing in the morning after my car had died the night before and they immediately gave me a quote on my car and were understanding when I said I had to figure some things out and call them back. After waiting 2 hours for another towing company that did not show, I had called this company in a panic because I had to leave within the next 15 minutes because of prior commitments that I could not rearrange. The moment that they had heard what had had happened, they told me not to worry and that they would come and tow my truck within the next 30 minutes. When I told them I wasn't sure if I could still be with my car within the next 30 minutes they once again reassured me that they would figure something out for me. Within that span of 15 minutes, not only did they manage to move things around and come tow my car quicker than the previous company I had waited 2 hours for, but they offered me a great price, and were the most understanding people. I have never experienced such great customer service, and if it wasn't for this company my day would have been completely ruined. They were very reliable, but most of all they cared about their customers which is not something you see often nowadays. Amazing company and amazing people. Would strongly recommend to anyone who is in the unfortunate position of needing a tow.

(My second review on December 29, 2018) I was trying to write another review to show my appreciation on Kevin of the Vancity Towing ( also associated with the Grandview Towing ) owing to his amazing performance on rescuing my 1988 Honda Accord for the second time on December 29, two times in three weeks!After I finished writing all of the details of the excellent services I received from Kevin in my second review, the system indicated it went beyond the word limit and did not allow me to send it out to share with others. However, it would not stop me from, at least, giving my review In brief. I am highly recommending Kevin to anyone who needs a professional and a knowledgeable person to save his/ her car in trouble and with very reasonable and inexpensive price.P.S. Unfortunately, today (January 04) becomes my third time of calling Kevin to save my dead car and his consideration and unfailing services are remarkable and highly appreciated.(My first review on December 04, 2018) My car, an old version of Honda Accord, was dead for a few days last week. I did not have a clue of what was the problem and my mechanic suggested having it towed to his shop for repair. I had then called around to compare the prices of the towing service and found this one, Vancity Towing (also associated with Grandview Towing), which would charge me $50.00 to tow my car, and it was the lowest price among all other companies I had called and checked.Kevin, who was very friendly answering my call, and when he heard about my car’s problem, he suggested it might work again by simply jumping start the battery instead of towing it to the mechanic and paying for repair. He charged $30.00 to jump the battery, which was twenty dollars less than towing it to the mechanic.When he arrived (Dec.04, 2018), he did not tow my car but used the jump cable to try to recharge the battery, and as his assumed, my car really worked again instantly. Kevin had even stayed with me for the whole time to make sure the battery was really running fine and during that time, he was very patient and answered my questions on how to prevent the battery from dying again. He also explained to me what kinds of maintenance work my car needed to be done and surprisingly, it was far less than what my mechanic had emphasized so far.It was the first time I had to look for the towing service all by myself and I do not know whether all other towing guys are performing the service as same as Kevin’s but other than rescuing my car, he had also provided me with information more than I could have had expected. Based on Kevin’s assessment on the battery, I was even able to ask my mechanic to replace a new battery covered by the warranty. After all, I spent $40.00 ($30.00 for recharging the battery and $10.00 extra to show my appreciation), my car is working again today (Dec. 05, 2018) and with a new battery replaced for free.I shared my experiences with my friends and I had even sent the contact information of the Vancity Towing to my friends for their reference, and in case, they need similar services unexpectedly in the future. In addition, I share my experience in the review section for anyone, like me, who have no experiences of looking for the towing service and do not know what kind of service they could expect.All the best and may you all driving safely in the upcoming winter season.

Great service! Arrived quickly, very patient, gave me a jump start try for free as the car had a dead battery. Also very kindly tried to help me diagnose the problem of the car, gave useful suggestions, and offered a ride back. Great service!
