Pretty decent Ethiopian restaurant in Ottawa. Quantity is a bit less compared to some other Ethiopian restaurants so please be mindful if you are planning to dine-in with family. The non-veg items were tastier, they didn't have the liver dishes when I visited. Habesha platter is definitely one of the dishes you can try, the injera was indeed soft and tasty. The place had nice ambience with some Ethiopian art works.

Used to eat here years ago, when the location was at the top of the hill. Thought id swing by for lunch however they werent open.Please update your hrs of operation.

Service was excellent, food was delicious and like nothing I have ever had before. Although it did take a little longer for food to come out than expected, I did go with a large group so that may have affected the speed. Overall a fantastic restaurant.

Absolutely scrumptious!! I hiiiiighly recommend coming her, it's the best most authentic Ethiopian cuisine in Ottawa (my roommate is Etheopean and said so himself!). I will DEFINITELY be coming here again, and again, and again.We ordered the meat tasting/sharing platter, it was awesome to taste everything and I definitely have my favourites. Everything was astonishingly flavourful, and we also ordered a spicy lamb dish. Everything was so tasty!! The Ingera was perfect, I prefer the darker one as it's more tangy, but the white one is fluffier. Both are equally elastic and perfect for scooping up all the delicious flavours. Do your soul a favour and try this place out. My only 'complaint' is that the food took ~40min to arrive. Now that I know what I like I might call next time and preorder before coming in ;)

My partner and I went here for supper. We were greeted promptly, our waitress was very friendly, food came out quickly and it was delicious! We each got a platter. Afterwards we had tea and coffee which had a wonderful presentation. Will definitely be coming back.

First experience with Ethiopian food! What a wonderful discovery. Server suggested the combination platters which we loved ! Also tried a spicy lamb dish that was also excellent. Staff were very friendly and ambiance was great. We enjoyed having time to sit and chat for a while. Excellent place for a relaxing meal with friends.

I had the most amazing dining experience! The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was delicious!While chatting with the woman that was working, I mentioned I hadn't tried Ethiopian food before, she then brought out a different type of Injera for me to try!I will 100% be going back!

Had a wonderful experience here. The food tastes great. They also have several vegetarian/vegan options. We ordered the vegetarian platter which had a little bit of almost all their veggie options and was quite filling too. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic Ethiopian food!

Quite a hidden gem. We went there as this was an Ethiopian restaurant. We love Ethiopian food and haven't had it for quite a while. The lady serving was very friendly and she suggested good items. We tried the platter and it was delicious. Wanted to try the Ethiopian coffee but we had to leave. The price is very reasonable and portions are quite good. Definitely a place to recommend.
