First Memorial Funeral Services

Wayne, needs to learn some tact. When we phoned to enquire about an additional charge on an obit notice which was 2x the estimate he got very defensive. When we discussed how it was put in LATE he called us extortionists!This is a FUNERAL home not a used car company! WOW

I cannot recommend First Memorial enough. Kerry and her team were just so tender, considerate and amazing in their service to our family. We have had unfortunate cause to use them twice now, and each time I have been impressed with every part of their service. There is no pressure during the arrangements and you really feel that they are there to support you to find what it is that best suits your family, both living and deceased. Really grateful for the support, guidance, fair pricing, and non-judgement. You will be happy you went with them.

Carolyne Gamble is amazing !!! She is very professional and personable as well as funny. Death doesn't always have to be so upsetting,you can fine some good memories too. She has gone out of her way to help me with 2 funerals in less than a month apart. She really cares about her clients and who would have thought that a funeral directer could become a friend as well. She is down to earth and understands what a family is going through and is compassionate. My family and I strongly recommend that you see her in your time of need...she is there for you. Sad losing someone you love and dealing with burial arrangements,especially sad during this pandemic .We could not go to our mother’s funeral as she was to be transported to her home province. That was very painful for us. Terrance set up a viewing of our mother with our pastor who said some words of comfort at the funeral home . First memorial made the transport arrangements . They were very kind and considerate . Appreciated their empathy as it was difficult for us to say goodbye , knowing we would not see our mother in her final resting place. They did their best to accommodate us in a caring manner . Very grateful- Thank you.

The staff here were both calm and helpful with asking what we wanted to do.Not pushy at all.Im sure its not an easy job dealing with people who are dealing with grief, but the group here make it easier to deal with.We dealt with Elizabeth and she was great to work with.Kind and compationate towards us.
