Venture Inn Hotel

Hotel was absolutely disgusting, reeked of cigarette smoke. Very run down. Went in with my mom to cancel the room, didn’t know if she would get robbed on the way.

By far the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Travelled from out of town and arrived very late. Check in was slow and the gentleman behind the desk was very confused but he was nice and friendly.The room was not clean - hair all over the shower and the tub filled up straight away when the shower was on. Completely clogged we couldn’t even shower it was so gross. Sheets and towels were stained. The whole hotel just stunk of smoke as well!! We were supposed to stay for two nights but could not stay there another night. When we brought it to the attention of the lady at the front the next day and she would not even get up from her seat to come talk to us at the front. Just awful customer service!!! Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Stayed one night after a concert and was disgusted by the cleanliness. The tub was not touched and was full of hair and crud, floors were not even swept, so much dust behind the tv and night stand, and so many filthy stains on the walls. $95 for 3 people was way too much! Will never stay again!!

This place taught me a valuable lesson about skimping on accommodation in unfamiliar cities.Everything in the room was so filthy and worn down I was hesitant to touch any surfaces. Bedsheets and pillows were wrinkled; possibly not swapped out after previous guests. The dense, nauseating smell of cigarettes and cheap perfume permeated everything. For some reason all vents and windows were taped shut with clear tape, perhaps a futile attempt by the staff to keep air from nearby smoking rooms out.The location is reasonably close to downtown but the area is really sketchy, with tweakers and other ragged individuals roaming around right outside the building. I would not feel safe returning here by foot after a night on the town.Do yourself a favour and just fork over the extra $20 for one of the chain hotels in the area.

They are cheap and lazy. They have the worst parking lot I have ever seen. If you don’t have a all wheel drive or a 4X4 have fun in winter getting out of the hotel.

Laminate floors in rooms. Bathtub shower is extremely old . Even though this is a non smoking motel the hallways stink like smoke. Brutal fight woke us ip at 2am in the room next door and hallway. Horrible!! Please reduce our bill for the inconvenience.

very unclean, stained bedding, reeks of cigarette smoke - we saw our room and immediately asked for a refund. it’s definitely worth it to pay a little extra and stay somewhere else

I booked a room for a night. Saskatoon : Saturday May 2023 long weekend. I will admit It was a last minute arrangement; so I had no option but to get a room so I could attend my former classmate, co-worker and lil bruh of mine's wedding. I had made sure I attended his wedding day. I had a personnel issues to miss it even as I had flown and been in the city of bridges - 'Paris dans la prairie Canadienne' as Saskatoon is referred to. Anyways, So I did. Venture Hotel was full as ALL hotels in Stoon. Only ONE SINGLE room - A smoke room !!! Hell. Took the room.Dr. Mohandis's (the groom) wedding was a dry one. So I found a way to sip on some juices... I WENT TO COLLEGE IN SASKATOON.Long story long lol I TOOK UBER BACK to the hotel. Few stops, I am reminiscent my days at the U of S Engineering department. Stops at Colonial, Winston's and Hudson's pubs. Memories !!! Oblige !!! Lost/forgot my phone - slash wallet inside Uber. THE CUSTOMER SERVICE I RECEIVED FROM the 2 receptionists Madina and Raj. The cleaners and the manager! WOW. Outstanding care and service . Compared to '7Stars Dubai Hotels Services Levels'. ABOVE AND BEYOND these two !!! Uber Lost and Found sacked. I ended up getting my phone and everything thanks to the above mentioned top tier customer care and employees at Venture Inn Hotel.

This place is run down , filthy and would never stat here again . Old is different from unkept and dirty .
