Lignite Tire Services

I recently took the spare tire for my RV to Lignite Tire to have a newer tire put on the rim. I told them it was a spare and not super time sensitive so to take their time and do it at their convenience. I confirmed the costs for mounting and balancing, disposal of the old tire and was told it would be ready the next day and I would receive a call. Next day comes and goes with no call, so I decided to stop by the following day only to find out it’s done and they just didn’t call because it was finished at the end of the day. Great! No big deal. I payed and received my receipt showing the mounting service, balancing service, and disposal service all performed by the same tech. When I went to load the tire in my RV, I noticed the tire didn’t appear to have been spun and also had no weights added. When I called to ask about their balancing process, I was told it was two different techs that worked on it, that the second tech forgot to balance it and to bring it back to have it balanced. When I brought the tire back, I was told by a tech —who was talking to the office girl—that the tech who forgot to balance the tire had snuck off to the shop when I pulled up and that he would have to come back in to fix his mistake. When he did come back, he didn’t say a single word to me and just took the tire. When I came back to pick it up, I asked the older gentleman in the office how this could happen if the service was signed off on by the same tech. Only to be told that they don’t have enough numbers for each of the techs and that it was human error. I get human error but what is the point in having a system where techs sign off on services when there is absolutely no accountability. He also said he had more work than he had techs and it had been forgotten because they were rushed. After this experience, I cannot recommend Lignite Tire for anyones tire needs unless you don’t mind paying for rushed partially completed services.

We got new tires, alignment and we used our credit card and then was charged for using the card. They should have told us.

Horrible don't take vehicles here, they replace faulty parts I.E. tie rods" in sections instead of all at once

Stopped in for parts that I needed and they were helpful and courteous. But most importantly they had the parts! Thanks for the help.

Ok it was super convenient for me since I could walk there. Guy was very knowledgeable, girl was learning but she was nice. Could have got the same tires installed cheaper elsewhere, if I wanted to wait a week and drive 1hr+ each way. Decided what I wanted, got them installed the next day. Installation- seemed slow. With an appointment I was actually on time for 1 hr 20 min for passenger tires on a van. Shop local buy local 4, want cheapest and have free time and gas 3+
