I am an insurance defence lawyer with expertise in underwriting. Hagerty is one of the best consumer insurance experience of which I can speak, with thoughtful and precise bases for insurance coverage. Also, as an auto enthusiast and collector, I would not be able to pursue my hobby to this degree, nor grow my collection, without Hagerty. This company should be an essential part of any serious classic car enthusiast or collector. Full marks to Hagerty!

Great people to deal with , coverage and rates is good. I have 3 classics with them and the only thing I find disapointing is that they don't offer monthly payments whichreally sucks having to pay a full year for three cars all I'm one pop. Other than that great service and coverage!

Hagerty Canada is by far the best insurer I've worked with. Thanks to everyone there for your efforts. It's also seamless with the parent (USA) company, with which I also have insured assets.

Hargerty is my go to for my collector car insurance needs. I've been with them for approximately thirteen years and they are first rate. They are also big supporters and promoters of the hobby.

I’ve been with Hagerty for nearly 7 years, but don’t know what has happened over the past year. I can’t even get a reply to a simple email- which I have re-sent multiple times.Calling them to see if one of my cars was actually insured (after receiving four pieces of mail in the same day, two telling me the car had been added to the policy and two telling me it had been removed) ended up being nearly 40 minutes of transferred departments and employees who had no idea what was going on.I used to speak so highly of this company but I fear they’re losing all professionalism.Update: I’ve emailed the provided address from your comment a few times now over the past couple of months. Still no reply.

I first insured my vintage automobile with Lant & Co., Insurance Brokers Ltd. Don Mills, Ontario back in 1989 through their Silver Wheel plan. While I have never had to submit a claim, annual renewal has been painless ever since. Hagerty delivers the same seamless service!

Have a mid 90’s Corvette. My normal carrier wouldn’t insure it and referred me to Hagerty. Good rates, good service, easy renew procedures. I have heard excellent customer service when making a claim. Hope I never need to find out.

Great company. Great coverage. Excellent reputation! I have had friends who had to place a claim for their collector car and Hagerty was outstanding! Word of mouth is key to surviving in business and that is why they have done so well for so many years!

Website makes it look easy, not so much in reality. Terms and conditions I would not have expected that do not make much sense for occasional use classic car insurance....what they specialize in. They will not insure owner of vehicle if any adults under 29 years of age live in household unless they have their own car. Hagerty will not insure the classic car at all! So basically you CANNOT have Hagerty insurance for a classic car if you have others living in household (under 29) without their own car. (some people do commute to work fyi Hagerty) this is regardless of their clean driving record and they would never be driving the car. All this took two hours to get addressed.
