Our house suffered significant water damage when we discovered the water line on our refrigerator blew during a day at work. We came home to find the kitchen flooring ruined and water raining through the ceiling in several rooms in the basement.One call from our insurance broker's after hours line put us in touch with Dustin from ServiceMaster Winnipeg. From start to finish, he championed the reconstruction, starting immediately with measures to mitigate any chance of mould developing. Before the end of the night, he had a crew in the house with air movers to protect the rest of our furniture and effects. The mitigation crew was matched during reconstruction and showed an attention to detail and sympathy for the disruption these kinds of events can wreak on a household.All all steps, everyone we spoke with from ServiceMaster was incredibly professional. They were respectful, courteous and excellent at what they did.I don't ever want to go through this experience again, but since accidents can happen, if it does, I am most certainly asking for ServiceMaster and will not even consider another.

They were fast to come out to do the estimate and remove the damaged flooring and walls. Left the dryers to dry the basement for 3 weeks? Then got a call asking if the fans were still at my house and it was like they forgot them. After that, took almost 3 months to them to submit quote to my insurance company. It took multiple emails and calls for them to get back to me. Wouldn’t recommend. Unless you don’t mind waiting months for responses.

Was very impressed with the entire Service Master team. We had a significant ice damn issue that caused extensive water damage and Dustin and team were excellent to deal with. Communication was prompt and the repair and clean-up teams were outstanding. Thanks for making a difficult event just a little bit easier!

Not sure of their quality of work but some of their service reps need a course in customer service. Not sure if there was more to the story or not but one of our neighbours asked on of the reps if he could move his truck up a bit so he safely back out of his driveway.The reply the rep gave was loud and profanity loaded. I live a couple of houses down and could hear it. Maybe ServiceMaster does a good job but until they teach their reps a bit of public relations, I wouldn’t let them in my house

We had basement flooding. ServiceMaster was quick to respond. Their staff members are knowledgeable and courteous. They remediated the issue quickly and showed up with all the right equipment to get the job done. There is no one else that I would call.

Highly recommended. Our kitchen and finished basement were damaged by floods and ServiceMaster was sent by the insurance company to repair the damage and remover mold from the walls. My wife and I could not be happier (see pics - the yellow/blue kitchen is the OLD one). Every tradesperson was polite and on time - and most importantly - knew what they were doing. They even laid down mats to keep from tracking dirt/snow into the house. What couldn't be covered, they cleaned at the end. Most importantly, they gave me excellent advice. I had decided to spend my own money for things like new appliances (which were not damaged by the flood) and for nicer finishes, like countertops. ServiceMaster guided me to get the best bang for my buck. Highly recommended.

Our company has used Service Master for many years and are continually impressed by their professionalism. They even went so far as to come into our boardroom and train our maintenance staff and our after hours emergency response dispatchers on proper protocols for water infiltration.It's not an exaggeration to say our company handles maintenance better because of Service Master. We appreciated ServiceMaster Restore's quick response to our water damaged areas. From flooring removal, ceiling and drywall removal and repairs, to cabinet removal, construction and installation, the work was done efficiently, thoroughly, with professional attention to details. DON'T use these guy's, they started my rental unit's restoration, got their money from the insurance company and completely abandoned the job, they didn't fix the unit properly so we had to hire an engineer to do a report on what they did, which was not to engineers plans so year later than the fire to the day, we finally got our unit underway, in the beginning they are were on the job daily and then i couldn't find them, had to chase them to get inspections done, both times the inspections failed due to workmanship, the insurance ppl are ticked because they are making payments on the rent now so be careful when you pick these guys.what a mistake on my part for granting these the contract, very disappointed.

We have just completed our insurance claim with Wawanesa. My 83 old mother left water running in the kitchen sink and flooded the main level and the basement. The damage required coordination from many service providers, from moisture and mold removal to carpeting, kitchen carpentry restoration, wall and ceiling rebuilding and a few more. My experience overall with this company was quite good, Dustin as the overall project manager was easy to reach via text and phone and he responded promptly to all my inquiries. Now that the job is done, I would highly recommend them and have indicated my satisfaction to the insurance company as well.
