Good flavours. We hadn’t been there for many years. Interior has been updated. Spice level is very variable, we used to order medium and we would love the heat but we ordered medium today and it was quite mild. We tacked on a shredded pork with green chilies and made sure we ordered spicy .. it was just right to get our spice fix. I love the sliced fish with Hunan pickles hot pot, cumin lamb, and the pickled long Beans with minced pork.

One of my favorite restaurants. If you like spice foods, or some traditional Chinese cuisines, this restaurant is the best choice.

Taste is brought in fresh ingredients from local market and made this little Bistro like restaurant a homey place for a satisfying meal for a reasonable price. I had the best fried rice and the best beef briskets in Vancouver. I returned to this restaurant once and will no doubt come back for more.

Kinda like stop by at Alvin Garden bi-weekly for our office lunch orders. Some of dishes are definitely you don’t wanna skip for. Smoked Bamboo Shoots with Smoked Pork, Spicy Pork’s Feet in Bucket, and Deep Fried Chicken with Dried Red Chili are something always included in our each order.

Very good restaurant near home, the staff is super friendly and helpful. I made a to go order over the phone and it’s processed smoothly and correctly. The timing it’s okay, said 25 minutes and I got the order right about that time. Didn’t wait too long when I arrived.I like the taste of their pork, and mouth watery chicken. Nothing too special but on par with my expectation. The rice is okay, average.Pricing is fair for what I get.I’ll visit again for sure, better than the one next door. And it’s 3 minutes walk from where I live.
