Terrible service in person and online, I had went into this store 2 weeks before the pandemic to purchase hair extensions and when first entering the store I was ignored until I left, decided to give them a second try and was recommended in person by the staff member to purchase a pack of 613 weave in hair extensions. My hair is extremely thin which your staff member had to have noticed yet I was still sold these hair extensions. After tons of research and asking different Professional hairstylist I had found out these were not for me and I am now out $135+. When finding this out I contacted the salon via Instagram and was ignored until this lockdown went into effect. Following this I have been treated with no respect, ignored, and listen to many lies from this company. Very disappointed and during this pandemic really can’t afford this loss. So unfortunate. I was in the sore never ordered the hair I purchased it in person the staff member was right in front of me. We never booked a hair appointment as I was ignored straight after purchasing. And when I asked to return them I was ignored yet again after being told I would be contacted by management. I’m sure the company will come up with a whole new lie for this review too. Just reading others reviews I see your company likes to be malicious with your responses and create any type of fake excuse to look better. I was at the loss here I know what’s what. Company continues to ignore all my messages regardless of lying on their google page saying they have answered and have no problem helping me. Really now? Where’s the calls? Where’s the texts? Emails? I’ve tried it all and been ignored through everything. Terrible people

Thank you SO MUCH to NY Hair and to Isabelle for the best braiding experience I've ever had!From the very beginning, excellent customer service put me completely at ease as my questions were answered patiently and completely via their Facebook page. I appreciated the opportunity to learn more about my hair to request the product that worked best for me.After the braiding, I was completely blown away by the transformation -- not only did I look and feel beautiful, but I felt very confident in my ability to maintain look until my next appointment. I returned a few days later and bought products from the store's extensive selection. I highly recommend NY Hair -- you are in excellent hands!

They have a great variety of options through their online store and their curbside pickup is very organized. Great, kind, helpful, and quick service. There are very few options for black women in Ottawa and this is definitely a great one! I got everything I needed at a great price. I highly recommend!!

Great experience at the store; got excellent service selecting hair for my twists and getting set up for my appointment with the stylist. The lady went above and beyond!I wouldn’t recommend the stylist/hair braiding services though; I had a noon appointment but the stylist only got to me at 2pm. We finished past 8pm. The twists themselves were not great - by day 3 they had started coming undone and the last row in the back had come out.(There was also no bathroom or trash can in the salon, so that did not make for great comfort).

Had hair on the website that they did not actually have in stock.Waited a full 6 days to tell me that, after creating a shipping label and notifying me that the product had been shipped.When I asked if they had an alternate product and explained that I have an upcoming appointment and this put me in a tough spot, zero response. No apologies either.Their customer service is awful. Do not order if you have an upcoming appointment, lord only knows if they even have the hair and they're not in any rush to let you know either.

I've been there a few times for product purchases or to get braids done and my experience has always been amazing. The owner is so welcoming and professional, the staff as well.I had the pleasure of meeting Izzy this week, she did an amazing job on my braids and extensions. She is friendly, fun and extremely talented. I will be back 100%.

Everyone within Warehouse was kind, courteous and friendly;Was especially impressed with stylist Isabelle, who performed cornrow style design for my first time and she was efficient, professional, kind, friendly, easy-going!Made the experience worthwhile as she was engaging and lively throughout..Isabelle made the first experience having a cornrow design fun and enlightening!Isabelle more than met my expectation and I will most assuredly be coming back to get stylish designs. Very impressed and very thankful!Would definitely recommend to any new clients!Much appreciated. Will be back sooner than you think. Wink! Wink!

The woman who served us was amazing. She colour matched our hair without even having to hold up swatches. She was very helpful and friendly. Excellent service and great selection. Highly recommend!
