Scotiabank

This is the one of the worst bank i have came through in points of rude customer service. The tellers are so so slow that they delay your service following by the line up in the bank and then the lady i guess assistant manager who guides the teller is rude to some next level. She gives you weird looks as the customer is to blame for the line up. Very very disappointed with the assistant manager lady sitting at the front.

I have never been so disappointed with the customer service and misleading quality of information provided at this bank branch ( From Assistant Manager to Teller) to the point where I just wanted to close my account and I did!! Worst customer service I’ve experienced at any branch of any bank and I bank with three different banks.To top it all, 3 different customer service team members at Scotiabank online that I spoke with all confirmed that they had never heard of the requirement provided by this bank's Assistant Manager. They instead advised me to go to another branch and surprise surprise, the other branch was able to resolve my issue within 15 minutes while all this Shaughnessy branch had was excuses and misinformation on why they couldn't help me the same day.I would give this Shaughnessy branch negative stars if I could. Surprised they even have 2 stars aggregate.You are better off going to the Port Moody branch instead where the customer service and care is fantastic!

I am so disappointed at this branch. Almost cost me my vehicle. I went in to change the bank account where my auto loan is being debited from. The teller helping me at that point somehow wasn't sure of how to do it so another teller came to help him. She gave him instructions and what not but he was not really paying attention. They were confused with why my new bank account numbers were too long etc. End of transaction they tell me everything is good. Two weeks later, my bank account doesn't get debited for my car loan. I get worried as this has never happened. I go to the branch the next day to ask why, and they tell me that nothing is wrong. I don't have any outstanding payments and that it's connected to my account and tells me to just wait a day or two, it might just be delayed. A pretty useless visit to the branch. Thankfully i listened to my gut and called customer service specifically for auto loans and I'm informed that the branch has missed a digit for my bank account. If I just waited" for it to be debited I'd have a missed payment that could impact my credit score and possibly repossession. Just great customer service

Have used them in the past with no problems.This time though was trying to get approval for a mortgage and they kept leading me on and then asking for more information again and again that I had already given them. They kept saying that it was going to happen so didn't try looking anywhere else .... In the end they denied me and lost me getting a house. This time around I have never felt more disrespected or discriminated against in my life .... I will never do use Scotia Bank again in my life. I don't recommend them at all, go somewhere else.

This location is the worst bank ever. Very useless financial advisor and Manager. Scotiabank head office should check into this place. If I could i would rate them 0. They don't try to help you at all.

I been at this location twice and it been worst customer service I’ve experienced at any branch.The tellers is rude and alway suggest to go do online banking or to call customer service.

I have 4 accounts in different banks. Scotia bank has the worse costumer service ever. To open a basic checking account , I spent few hours online and contacted the branch in person also call head office for several times still my account is not active after 3 days. That was the big mistake working with this bank.

For a very strange reason, they lock doors after hours so you can’t use the ATM, only the drive-thru which 1/5 times works. Very unreliable. Avoid going there if possible!

The financial advisors here are the worst. So difficult to reach them, and they don't even understand how to use their own systems, let alone provide good financial advice. Perhaps Scotiabank is to blame with their technology.
