Wellwise by Shoppers

**UPDATE: After to speaking to a supervisor this afternoon, we finally got our optimum points! Thank you Nolan for your assistance today. It still took way too long to rectify.My husband shops at Wellwise monthly to purchase ostomy supplies. In January, we purchased over $370 worth of supplies during a 20x the points offer when you spend $100 or more at Wellwise locations. Our receipt clearly states the bonus points were awarded but they have not shown up in our account. After several emails/phone calls, we were advised the situation was escalated and someone would contact us within 24-48 hours. No call. After another last ditch call today, the associate advised us that because the purchase was made at a store location, the store is responsible for awarding the bonus points . Not true as I confirmed with the store manager. This has been going on for over 2 months now and we are still out 112,000+ points. We spend over $4000 a year at Wellwise. After working in customer service for over 25 years, I find the handling of this situation absolutely despicable.

Recently I've had to go through the sleep study in Barrie. After getting my results I was told I would need to buy a CPAP machine. I choose Shoppers Home Health Care after googling my options on who sold the machines. There are many places to purchase the machines. I'm very glad I picked Shoppers on Bayfield Street and had Lori as my nurse. I was under the assumption you just buy the machine and go home with it but that is not the case. At Shoppers I had the good fortune to have Lori help me. Lori is very knowledgeable on all aspects of the machines and the hoses ect. Lori explained how the machine functioned and what I could expect from my experience with the machine. I felt very confident taking it home that night. Now that I've been using it for a few months I would hate to be without it. Lori has called to check with me that all was good which I really appreciate.Lynn Adams

Called to see if they carried a certain item that I had been told to buy specifically from wellwise. They told me they didn't carry the brand and when I asked them to check the upc I'd been given just incase they got the brand wrong she put me on hold, picked up a few min later when she got to the front and told me they looked it up and they didn't carry the brand. I asked her if she was going to take the upc from me to check and she said we don't carry it, said bye and hung up. Guess I'll never know since she didn't care to take the time to check.

You'd think that if you called ahead, confirmed with the employee that a specific product was in stock, and alerted them it would a 30 minute drive, the overly talkative women working" would have actually checked that their products were available. Once I arrived the clueless lady told me she didn't actually check and that she assumed it was there because the "shelf looked full". Then sent myself and my herniated boyfriend on a wild goose chase around a city I don't even live in. Please do yourself a favor and take your business elsewhere."

I always have a great experience here when shopping for specific heath care needs. Today, Clara was especially friendly and helpful.

Very disappointed with lack of assistance received from CPAP technician. She would not safely assist me during this crisis and COVID and insisted I had to come into the store to show me how to use a machine I have been using for 7 years which has broken down. I just need a replacement machine. I am not going to a sleep clinic at this time to get a new prescription just for a replacement machine. No room to be logical during this crisis. I need my sleep!!

***Consistently late on essential medical orders.This locations management, and staff display absolutely no compassion or empathy toward their customers. The constant disregard, and lack of responsibility taken in order to ensure essential orders are not only ordered, but supplied to customers in a timely manner (whether delivered, or available for pick up in store) is shameful to say the least. Perhaps a change to your billing procedures"

This place is absolutely the worse place to go ever.A different store sold me the wrong product, but I had to make sure by verifying. It's 6pm I haven't even had lunch being it's a busy day and my blood sugar was very low and, I told the supervisor I wasnt too well and if she can make exceptions to return it being it's opened since it's a mistake that shoppers did. She chose policy over talking like a human just to keep her job.It's very low of her... $20/hr or maybe less. This is how customer service is like in 2022. This type of person what makes the world a flaf surface.Definitely needs to lose her job.

Don’t appreciate showing up a few minutes before closing and being sent away. Knew what I needed, would have taken 5-10 minutes but told cash was already closed. Could see a child playing with scooters but I couldn’t make a quick purchase. Staff knew what we were looking for and knew it would be quick.
