Townline Hill Park

I had never visited this seemingly impenetrable swamp, pond, in my nearly 20 years of teaching at Rick Hansen, but with all the work being done I was curious and worried as to what was in store for this pristine example of biodiversity. A water pump has been installed - please don't drain the swamp!!

Ballpark is nice. Parking is good. Bathrooms have no heated water, soap, or a way to dry your hands. In the far end of the parking, shady/drug deals are going on. No police checks. If your kid doesn't play ball here, it doesn't feel safe.

Amazing views of the mountains behind Mission, Maple Ridge and Vancouver. Great shots of sunrise and sunset reflections.

Nice park for a ball game, but it would be nice to have soap in the washroom.

The grass is decent. The layout of the park is poor. Always random cars in the parking lot. Regularly see cops in the parking lot talking to people. It is a problem spot.

Secluded little park with a field and a playground for kids. There are also 2 sets of bleachers. It wasn't too busy when we went which was nice!

I love this gem! Im guessing the water is at multiple levels because beavers have built what I think are dams in the forest ponds/swamps. There are so many song birds that nest there, and the paths and grass are well-maintained.It’d be a 5-star park if the city eliminated the blind corners on the parking lot at Blueridge (the trees between the road and park seem to cover some drug dealing in the parking lot), and to create a fenced dog park for locals to increase use of the green space. Some more play equipment for kids would also be welcome, now that the neighbourhood has filled out so much. Otherwise, it’s a great place to walk, play ball and throw a frisbee around!

The field was huge all of my friends had enough room to play football. The park is a decent sized park. The rides are fun to ride.

There is a small playground here with a seesaw and some metal slides. The driveway to access the parking lot is not marked, and dangerous exiting on a blind corner with vegetation blocking sight lines.

Basic baseball field and a small playground. Really a destination if you are playing ball.
