We always go when Peggy Farrell is singing. The hamburgers are great, the wine is very good for a bar and the service we had on June 30th was suburb!!! We had an awesome waitress who took care of our table of 10 WITHOUT writing down a thing and never missed a beat.

My friend recommended we go to this place and I'm so glad we went originally. I never expected to have amazing food at a bar like this before! Just recently, I went back with her so I've now dined here twice. There are lots of delicious vegan and vegetarian options on the menu. The atmosphere is unique. Note: the menu on the website has fewer options than the in-person menu and there is also a menu of daily specials given to you. 2 suggestions to the owners: 1) Update the online menu and 2) wipe down the tables well with a clean cloth (the table was sticky and smelled like strong vinegar).

This place was a great find the food is incredible and the staff was extremely nice. Prices were very reasonable and everything was extremely tasty. The menu however should come with warning labels because the quality and the quantity are definitely not represented with the prices. Single serve portions would probly feed a family of 4. The Raman tasted incredible but the bowl was more of a trough. If we are in the area again we will stop in and I highly recommend entire menu to anyone else

We were traveling in from Schoharie and found this amazing little gem. The ambiance 10/10. Nice Gypsy vibes for this gypsy soul. Then we got the food and drink menu. The menu was diverse, rich in flavor and something for everyone. The food is as amazing! Often times when you find a place that puts all their effort in to a “look” or their menu has too many variety of things it’s not great. But we were blown away. Special shout out to Bob for making our experience even better. We’re only here for a few days but we will be back!

FANTASTIC Spot. Out of towners looking for a late night drink and food(since most things wanted to close at 10pm on Thursdays) this is a perfect night out. Busy area with a robust crowd. Loved the vibe - Karaoke night was so much fun. Bar tenders are friendly and make fantastic drinks! Cosmo was 10/10. Delicious food too!! It was a packed house when we went and honestly cannot wait to go back when we're in town again!

Delicious brunch! I had an Irish coffee, Pastelitos, and brunch poutine. Everything was delicious. It just got a little loud in the restaurant after noon hit. But other than that it was a delightful and delicious brunch.

Food was outstanding! We got the Trash Plate as well as the creole fettuccine and a pastillo. Hot and fresh and great portion sizes. I had dinner and lunch and it was amazing the next day. Jon was our server and he was fantastic. Took great care of us and gave us space when needed. The entire Bar/dining is so welcoming and warm. It's a bit dim in there but perfect when your on a date. Will return for sure!!

My friend and I went at the end of May because my friend was hungry and always wanted to try it since it has vegan food. So, we went. I did not get anything since I was not hungry when I went but honestly they just had limited options to choose from and none of the options at the time seemed appealing. Pictured is what my friend got and he also got plantains which were literally in a bowl of oil and wasn’t that great. I tried the fries that came with my friend’s food and they weren’t bad.

I used to love Gypsy Parlor, but I'm not sure why they've started charging people $10 to get in. This happened a few times, and there was no event or performance there. One time was 9 pm on a Saturday night. Ten dollars to walk in the joint! Not for nothin', but whatever happened to ladies' nights, or ladies getting in free? We're the ones spending money on cocktail after cocktail and tipping the bartenders well. It's kind of a turn-off, especially for a dive bar on the West Side that we've all been going to for years and years-- even when it was Ashley's! I hope management reconsiders charging this amount at the door.

The vegan chicken sandwich was delicious. The drag queen show was a fun surprise as well.
