My four year old daughter and I both had our hair done by Heather last month. Heather is incredible! She was so wonderful with my daughter during her haircut. It was my daughter’s first time in a salon and Heather made sure she was comfortable and talked to her very respectfully about the process so my daughter understood and wasn’t scared. Heather knows a lot about curly hair and Paw Patrol which was a hit for my daughter! Heather also did my hair at another appointment and I was very impressed with the colour and cut. Thank you! We will definitely be back to this location!

I have gone to James Brett’s west end salon for almost 10 years, but today will certainly be the last time. My stylist Logan was most unprofessional and made me feel so uncomfortable during my “cut”/colour. I showed her pictures of what I wanted but what I got was not even close... when I voiced my concerns that she had not done what I had asked, she stormed off to get her manager. Unfortunately the second try was no better. Finally on the 3rd try I gave up and told her it was fine (not wanting to cause more damage to my hair). She was super unpleasant after my complaint and basically refused to cut my hair and said she would just trim my ends... She never once apologized for her mistake. I cannot express enough how badly she made me feel for her mistake. To top it off, the salon charged me full price for this disaster I now need to get fixed. If you think it’s ok to charge an evidently unhappy customer close to 200$ when they clearly didn’t get what was asked, don’t be surprised to lose business.

I found Thomas, a few years ago and he has been my stylist since. Love love love getting my cuts there. Super friendly front staff, professional, clean and always love the outcome <3 Definitely my go to!!! I am so glad you guys were finally able to open back up :)

Disappointed. I was expecting excellent customer service, attention to detail and (for the price), an amazing hair cut.Despite arriving early for my appointment, I felt like I was being rushed through the process to get me out the door. The stylist was very confident, so when he didn't communicate about his plans for my hair, I didn't fuss and trusted the process.Right after finishing my cut, he ripped the cape off and said farewell. I didn't get up right away because I was genuinely surprised that the haircut was finished - he did no finishing touches to fix the uneven pieces, didn't check the symmetry of my layers, and I noticed he didn't fix my part before starting which now leaves me with an uneven cut. He didn't skip a beat rushing me up to pay at the desk. I wasn't given any opportunity to share my thoughts or ask for adjustments. Overwhelmed and anxious, I paid and left.For the price, I expected more from my salon experience and haircut from Brett.P.S. I've seen from other, more poor reviews that this salon will look you up in their system by name and use your info as leverage in their response, thus why I'm writing this with an alias.

A huge thank you to Liz for being the best stylist ever! You are friendly, professional and outgoing. I enjoy the time I get to spend in your chair chatting about everything and anything! You make me feel wonderful, refreshed and relaxed (especially after the scalp rub) by the time I walk out of the building.Great job with the Covid protocols! I feel safe while there!Can’t wait for my next appointment.

I had wonderful brow services done by Mahdi. She was so lovely and warm. She did a very nice job, didn't rush it.The spa was relaxing and clean. I'll definitely return agian soon.

James Brett saved the day!I showed up to have my hair blown out for my sisters bachelorette. I had accidently booked the wrong day and the salon was fully booked. I was on a very tight timeline as I was en route to PEC (I showed up at 10am and told them I had to leave the salon at 11am).The woman at the front desk was so kind and ran back to talk to James Brett. They were able to fit me in between clients and got me out at 10:50. My hair looked beautiful and the staff were all so nice - they weren't frustrated or annoyed by the situation at all.Overall an amazing experience. Highly recommend James Brett.

Julia was fantastic. Without a word of a lie, the best haircut I've ever had. So easy to manage and looked still great after the next wash. Julia is down to earth, sincere and really listens. So happy!

I just had the best afternoon.Toes and nails done a week ago with the loveliest young lady who, sadly, I can't remember her name. I felt safe with all their covid safety measures.Today my husband treated me to the full hair experience. Danielle was beyond experienced and I feel beautiful. High and low lights, cut and omg...the head and neck massage!!!And Brett, well he quickly got my 2 finger nails fixed even though I was the one who messed them up 4 seconds after I left the salon last week.Very nice and pleasant experience. Thank you everyone. I'm one very happy lady.

Had my hair and make up done yesterday for my cousins wedding. It was a wonderful experience. Hailey was my make up artist and she was so easy to talk to and did such an amazing job on my make up! Jeremy styled my hair and he had the most vibrant energy, and I could feel how much he loves doing what he does! I loved sitting in his chair. Thank you guys for making me feel beautiful on such a special day!!
