Restaurant Cucina Antica

First time in mtl little italy, and me and my wife found this little jewel of a restaurant. Omg food was great service was perfect and the ambiance was enchanting. I recommend this place to everyone. 5 stars is not anought you guys deserve 10. We will be coming back to this place for sur.And btw my wife is in a wheelchair this place is accessible too all. And this my friends is top of the line for us.

Words cannot describe how good the food is here! Hands down one of my favorite places in Montreal. The decor is really nice too it makes you feel like your outside on a terrace! I had shrimp risotto, my date had lasagna.

Great food, waiter and staff was super friendly. Delicious antipasti and pasta. Nonna’s ragu was 10/10.Grazie ragazzi!

Such a wonderful place, the servers were all so patient and even explained the entire menu to us! Perfect atmosphere and perfect food!

Location is awesome but food unfortunately wasn’t as good as expected and not worth the high prices. Our pasta were al dente, looked perfect, but all in all the taste was quite boring.But actually really bad was the unacceptable behaviour of one waiter.When we got the bill from a waitress we behaved like we were used to when being in the United States: We paid cash and gave only as much money as shown on the bill in order to tip the staff after we got our change. What we didn’t know was that tipping in Montreal is the same like in Europe obviously: You’re telling in advance how much money you wanna add.Suddenly this special waiter (and not the waitress who we paid) came back with our whole money and advised us that the tip is missing and not included on the bill.Not only that it’s our decision how much we wanna tip, in our opinion it’s also very impolite to behave like that as a staff member for such a high class restaurant as it pretends to be.

Went there, no welcome, three servers with nasty attitude and if you ask them question, be prepared to be answered with some bad behavior, as if you were bothering them. They don't have paper menu, everything is written on their wall far away, so have your glasses ready if you have one. If there is one restaurant with no smile, this would be it. We left right after because their attitude has ruined my taste... I'll never go back there. There are plenty other good restaurants in petite Italie and this one is not worth my time nor my money.

We had a great evening with good food, wine, service. Zucchini flowers stuffed with ricotta and deep fried are amazing, as is the Pork Shank..Must try.

Just loved having supper at this charming restaurant. The food was delicious and service was quick and pleasant. So enjoyed the traditional home-cooked Sunday ragú, stuffed zucchini flowers and the stracciatella soup. Definitely a place to return to.

Great place, great ambiance, great food and a beautiful indoors leafy canopy letting through some natural light. Good wine list - priced right. Old school Italian personalized service, they know how to treat you right. Do you yourselves a favour and visit this place, especially if you're trying to impress clients.

The adorable outdoor string lights and vine ceiling make you feel like you’re on a trendy rooftop patio.First of all, let’s cover the appies. They are ON POINT.You get olives, roasted red pepper, focaccia, and French bread with butter when you first sit down. I freaking love little nibbles because I usually arrive starving.Random point - they charged $1 each for water service. Pretend you’re in Europe I guess.Dinner was delish. They must have a rotating menu since they only have it written on chalk boards, so I expect it’s seasonal. Which is both good and bad - if you fall in love with a dish you’ll probably gamble if it’s available next time or not. But I get the feeling everything here is good.Really likes the wine I had too. (I mean, wine right? #yum)If you get a seat in the front part of the restaurant with the leaves it’s a great romantic date restaurant. If you’re seated in the back overflow room you kind of miss out on the ambiance so I’d request the front.Enjoy!
