I have had a couple little run-ins with the staff. But they were clearly VERY busy with all the COVID testing and me expecting speedy service was a bit unfair. I was in a rush and that was all I could see in that moment and to be truthful it's me that owes them the apology. And other than those couple of times they are generally pretty great....always call out a hello to me by name and let me know that they'll be with me as quick as possible. I am usually in and out in no more than 10 minutes.

Very negligent staff. Pharmacist neglected to inform me of possible side effects when combining medications even after asking. He read the bottle back to me as if I'm an idiot, they're at least supposed to provide documents of side effects. Some side effects combining these medications can result in death and internal bleeding. Don't go here if you value your life/health. 0/5

This is a Convenient little simply pharmacy shoppers at 2051 mcallam rd. It's right under Gateway 2 building, just transferred my script from coquitlam, no issues there very quick here. Lots of parking this area usally isn't that busy, great location. This store is just pharmacy mostly and some snacks, cards etc. Yeah great store recommended if u live in the neighbourhood. Not sure why such low ratings... I've had great service.

Flu shot experience: painless, great.Long wait, normal.Pharmacist had very long acrylic fingernails which were sharpened at the tips. Inside the nails were coated with foundation or other grime and dirt. How does one wash hands properly with super long nails? Or peel a bandaid, type or perform basic hand hygiene before giving a vaccine? They show Injection Certified but I do believe basic training hand hygiene when touching clients would be necessary. Perhaps they missed that day of class. Gross.I attempted to complain to Shoppers directly or the College of Pharmacy complaints line but the websites take you through several loops with no forum. Please address this issue in your store.

I had a PCR/NAAT test booked but then had a late meeting scheduled that I couldn’t get out of so I called the pharmacy two days prior to my appointment and they accommodated me with a later appointment. This was greatly appreciated.I ended up getting off work earlier than expected so I stopped at the Shopper Drug Mart pharmacy on the way home to see if they could squeeze me in a little early. Thought there was no harm in asking. I would have been fine had the pharmacy assistant said, “I’m very sorry, but we are booked solid. We just can’t fit you in.” No problem; not a big deal. Instead, she chuckled at me and then looked back at the other pharmacy staff as if to say, “can you believe this guy?” She then rudely told me I had to come back 5 minutes before my appointment. Because she had laughed, I actually thought she was joking around and then I realized it wasn’t humour, it was condescension. All I could do was say, “wow” and then I turned a walked out.So, I returned 5 minutes before my appointment. The pharmacy assistant directed me to stand off to the side. Although I’m displeased with my earlier experience I’m being polite because I don’t want to give them an excuse to misplace my PCR/NAAT test and ruin my vacation plans. Another gentleman comes into the pharmacy and the pharmacy assistant asks him what time his appointment is? He’s 15 minutes early and his appointment is 15 minutes after mine. She rudely tells him he has to come back 5 minutes before his appointment. The pharmacy assistant then ends her shift and leaves the pharmacy.Another staff member then confirms my documents and then sent me over to stand in a line and wait to get called. She’s not being rude but certainly isn’t being friendly. The guy who showed up 15 minutes early then get processed and joins me in the lineup. It’s now 20 minutes past my appointment time and the guy whose appointment was 15 after mine gets called before me. An honest mistake or a dig at me for earlier? Who knows?Absolutely terrible customer service. I looked at the online reviews for the pharmacy and the majority indicate a lack of customer service and rude behaviour by the staff. Clearly the owner of this pharmacy doesn’t care otherwise she would have done something by now to correct the behaviour. This Shoppers Drug Mart pharmacy certainly doesn’t represent LifeLabs in a professional light. I would use LifeLabs for this service in the future, but I would NEVER go back to this particular pharmacy.

Doesn’t have absolutely everything a regular shoppers does (like makeup) but they carry a wide yet small variety from vitamins, cleaning supplies, dry goods, skin care, and medicine.

I have never had a good experience in this pharmacy. Every staff member is unfriendly and offers you as little help as possible. I went to get a COVID test WITH an appointment. I was put in a line that did not move for 30 minutes. When I finally went to inquire with on the counter about what is causing the delay, I was told that the pharmacist was busy filling prescriptions. They made people with prior appointments wait 30 minutes because the pharmacist had other things to do. No apologies, no communication until they were pressed to give information. I found that very unacceptable.Every, and I mean every one of their staff is unfriendly and uncooperative. The attitude seems to flow from the top.

If possible stay away from the arrogance, non caring and sarcastic attitude of the staff at this store. Unfortunately, this store happens to be COVID testing site for International travel chosen by Life Labs. Really ! So appalling. You pay for the service and you are being treated like you are asking for free service. The attitude of the staff needs a major overhaul there. I am surprised that Shoppers does not even care about the many negative comments this store is receiving.

Worst pharmacy in abbotsford, there has been issues every single time I go in and not a single person knows what they are doing. Don't waste your time here.

Had a bad experience. They have no clue as to what they are doing. Will not recommend to anyone. Keep doubting their skills
