Niche Art Gallery
A new venture of ~17 artists who have come together to show their artwork. Tucked next to Sandbar and the Cement factory it has fabulous lighting and some very unique art installations. One of the artists I have been following for several years is Michelle Valuma who paints on rocks" of many sizes. None of the stones are carved and each has a hidden tale. Her work is detailed

What a marvelous way to tickle my fancy. Ooohhh and aaahhhhh all the way around the gallery. Beautiful art work, creativity abounds and the friendly resident artist/owner so kindly shared her unique perspective on the many artists represented in the shop. Affordable treasures that will delight. Always include this fun filled stop on your next adventure day to Granville Island. They're open after most stores close so your special day can continue into the evening. Will most definitely return.

Tucked away in a corner of Granville Island, this gallery is worth finding. The pottery items were particularly unique, with soap dishes and handle-less mugs, and another artist had brightly coloured hexagonal glass placemats that display like a honeycomb.Local artists’ paintings hang on the walls in a mixture of media.

The shop is beautiful, welcoming and full of unique art. I cannot express the beauty and creativity in each piece. Niche Art Gallery is the crown gem of Granville Island.I am so glad I found it on my trip to BC,and I can't wait to return. Five stars..isn't enough.

Just when I thought I'd seen it all along comes this fascinating gallery with tons of totally creative and new ideas along with well executed traditional ones. Absolutely worth a visit! I bought a great 3D greeting card for my daughter who loves sewing and a lovely bottle of bath salts.
