Normaway Inn Music Barn
Was@ The Barn @The Normaway Inn on Friday night for the concert& square dancing had a GREAT TIME. I would definitely recommend it to anyone who loves Celtic Music & square dancing. I would definitely recommend it as a must see.It is worth the drive.

We loved our stay here. We rented the green chalet. Really rustic and cozy spot. We enjoyed the jacuzzi a lot. The old radio in the room was a nice touch. The best part of the stay was the food in the restaurant. Oh my! Best coffee and blueberry pancakes I've ever had. Loved the salmon too. Our servers were so kind and took the time to ask us about our infant son which was so nice. Reception was also very sweet and helpful. Love the views. Love the atmosphere. Thanks for the wonderful stay!

Normaway Inn Music Barn
Great food and service in the restaurant and wonderful entertainment in the little barn. The inn itself is very dated and musty. Given its age, a bit of updating and sanitizing would be an improvement. The paint or porcelain on the bathtub was chipped, the stained toilet would only flush once and then the cover of the tank would have to be removed and chain reattached for next flush. The steps going to the second floor needed cleaning. A waft of dampness and must hit me as soon as we opened the door. We killed a number of house flies and spiders in the room and bathroom. I would eat in the dining room again and attend a concert in the barn, but will not stay overnight again.

I could not believe how magnificent Colin Grant was in expressing his story and his extraordinary expression of love for Cape Breton music. He is an amazing talent. Forever grateful to have experienced this evening. Also, for Chrissy Who really surprised me (because of her youth) how she held her own. I see a star. And, surprisingly, Ashley MacIsaac showed up! Couldn't ask for more.

Stayed here 3 nights. The staff is great but you can tell they're stretched thin. We ate at the on-site restaurant and our food was very good - got the steak and salmon. Our cabin was mostly clean but a few of the furnishings could use an update. With how beautiful the property is they could easily up the per night prices and value if they added a few more personnel and raised the quality of their accommodations a bit. We saw the milky way for the first time here!

This is my second time staying! Amazing grounds to take in the beauty! We ate at the restaurant, great food. Amazing and accommodating staff! We had a group of 8 people for an ATV event, they provided us with ample space for trucks and trailers! A must add to your bucket list

Stayed in green cabin! Loved the wood burning stove it was such a cozy romantic spot. Try the blueberry juice and go for a stroll on the property to see the horses and the kitty they have.

I stayed there with my parents & my 2 sisters. The cabin we had was perfect! It has 2 beds & a pull out couch. It also had a connections ting bathroom complete with a whirlpool tub & shower head. There was breakfast inside the main house where the office is located, breakfast was delicious!!!Everything was clean & comfortable. The owner & his family were so incredibly kind, welcoming, & attentive. They also have horses, Highland cows, & a beautiful little donkey on site! Such an excellent place to stay! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
