I have been working with Laura for the past 8 years. I cannot describe into words what she has done for me and continues to do...so I will try my best. She is an incredible human being. She is the reason I believe in therapy, she is the reason I believe in self help❤️ Her guidance for the past 8 years has been a blessing and I will continue to see her and talk to her for many years to come. I didn’t always have something to report at our sessions but I still showed up to the appointment just knowing I’d talk to a best friend for an hour and feel much better than I walked in. ❤️ To say I recommend her is an understatement ❤️

I have been working with Laura for nearly 6 months now and it has given me a completely new perspective on therapy! Finding a good fit for a therapist can be a tedious and nerve wracking journey but she made me feel at ease right away. She is compassionate, great at coaching, challenges your thought process in the best way, and provides you a little bit of homework to maintain new habits in daily life. There are a lot of points to check when finding a well rounded therapist and I was lucky to have found her.A potential downside, just like for any good therapist, there can be a bit of a wait for each appointment which works well for my needs but may not for others. However, after a few appointments, you can book further in advance to potentially get more frequent appointments if needed!Overall, I highly recommend anyone to see use these services as they’re very welcoming and make the process enjoyable.

My daughter has been with Kristin, a counsellor at Lambton counselling for over 3.5 years now.. She has helped and guided my daughter through the past years of her life. Although what they discuss is kept completely confidential, even from myself, she has been an absolute blessing in my daughters life. My daughter loves sharing and opening up with Kristin. She considers Kristin a very special friend that she trusts and confides in, which as a mother makes me truly appreciate and love her as well. I would highly recommend Kristin (or Lambton counselling) to anyone seeking a very special support and guidance system that just has that extra special something to give. We love her and appreciate everything that she has done and continues to do for my daughter.

I have been working with Laura for 9 months now. I have struggled with depression and anxiety for 40 years. I have seen several psychiatrists, psychologist and other therapist and I have never had an experience such as I have with Laura. She takes time, makes you feel normal when you have felt very much abnormal. She didn’t just explain my thoughts but why those thoughts were impactful and caused pain. I have never felt as clear headed as I have with her. She has given me tools to work to establish better though patterns. She has never made me feel like I was a hopeless case and I have never experienced that with the other people I saw. I started seeing Laura five years ago shortly after a suicide attempt. I was amidst a lengthy, painful cycle of hospital and treatment for a life threatening eating disorder. While I have found myself in the walls of therapist offices since the age of 6, I believe there is a reason it is only since Laura I have been able to break that cycle and enter onto a path of true recovery. The level of professionalism offered and maintained through the depth of Laura's space holding is incomparable. The warmth of her being shines through in her ability and eagerness to endlessly support a client back to the safety and wholeness of their innate being. While she is a certified psychotherapist, it is evident the letters beside her name are for no one but the insurance company. And although she takes great pleasure in continuing education - she has a unique approach that honors the journey she herself has walked in this life rather than spewing words learned from a textbook. With this she is able to treat with an approach that dissipates the idea that we were ever broken or wrong. This offering bypassed the power dynamic/dependence previously imposed in therapy settings. It allowed for not solely skill building to cope, but also for a development of the true knowing that the tools needed to overcome and persevere to invite my highest self forward, are already within. Laura is a guide, a teacher above all else - and will show you that you, too, are a teacher. That we are all one; no less, no more than any other who walks this earth. This humble teaching is what has allowed me to come the most into my person and navigate the narratives I carry in regards to myself and the world. She has a true gift of meeting the client where they are and navigating trauma in an informed fashion that does not allow for re-traumatizing. Not only does Laura know how to hold the safest of spaces, she has an art for inviting the individual back to safety within their own body - offering sincere and continuous support with this guidance. Her approach has not only helped disassemble the parts of myself I thought I knew and was so sure about, but has brought me closer to the meaning of why we are all here - and allowing me to find my own place in that. A quote she often reminds me of is 'we are all just walking each other home.' Each session with Laura allows for not only a clearer vision into this perspective, but a resonator of its truth. And for me to choose to stay alive on this earth, this approach was necessary.

I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone seeking a professional experience. My wife and I both were attending at different points. When my wife needed it the most she was turned away and said she would be passed on to a new counselor. This resulted in a visit to the Mental Health Unit. I highly recommend for you to seek a different place for counselling.

I have had the privledge of being Laura's client for 9 years. I cannot put into words the impact she has made on my life. From the very beginning she welcomed me, and showed me unconditional compassion. My healing journey with her has expanded my understanding about trauma, life, my relationship with others and myself. She has been an incredible guide to awakening to my higher self. Among many things, she has taught me how to tune into my self-awareness and utilize numerous coping mechanisms. It has been incredibly empowering to acknlowedge, and hold lovingly, every part of who I am. Laura posseses an incredible wealth of knowledge, experience, intuition, and values progressive techniques in therapy. We have done healing practises such as tapping, retrieval of the inner child, and meditative practises. I have always admired the way she provokes thought. She helps guide my understanding by asking questions I never thought to ask myself. I end up coming into life changing relizations. There are no words to adequetely describe my gratitude to her. Countless times I have recommended her to friends and family, I highly recommend her to anyone seeking help. To whomever is reading, who may be seeking help..When you are ready, there are people like Laura who truly care about you and want to help. It can be painful to look into yourself, but that pain will transform to understanding. When you look back, as I have on my own journey, you wont be able to imagine yourself had you not reached out. You are not alone, you will be guided and supported. With this hard work, comes beautiful healing.

Laura has been my mental health professional for over 6 years. I have referred more friends and family than I can count on my hands and feet. Laura has compassion, integrity and serious professionalism. One thing I'd like to note is the ease and comfort I felt the minute I stepped into Laura's space. The energy and environment in the physical space is exactly what I needed to open up. I was far too used to a clinical uncomfortable counseling experience before I started to see Laura.
