Absolutely recommend Lion World to anyone interested in touring South Africa. My husband and I had a wonderful time. From accommodations to the day trips planned, everything was perfect. Was truly spoiled on the trip. Laurandie, our rep, was very knowledgeable and helpful when it came to some concerns. Was a trip of a lifetime! I would travel with them again!

Our family booked the Classic Tanzania experience through Lion World Travel and I don’t think I can explain how perfect this trip was. From the start our agent, Jean Kadenhe, answered all our questions and providing clear guidance.When we arrived in Tanzania the exceptional trip started with the friendliest guides, Albert and Joshua. Our trip from the airport to the first hotel was with Joshua who was polite and extremely welcoming to our tired family. Albert Mutalemwa was our guide the rest of the trip. If you take anything from this review, please let it be to request for Albert. I’m telling you- he made our trip SO perfect! He was so knowledgeable, so sweet, and an amazing driver making sure we saw all big 5 animals and even the great migration!All hotels were beautiful and the food was very good. Same day laundry services provided at all places and the vehicle was cleaned every night.We will be back to Tanzania- thank you Lion World Travel, Albert Mutalemwa, Joshua, and Jean Kadenhe for making this a trip of a lifetime!

My husband Doug and I just returned from Lionworld Travel’s “Pride of South Africa” 12 day tour and it was a fantastic experience from start to finished. Our agent, Carlene was so helpful from start to finish and the detailed itinerary and other documents left no questions unanswered. We had been searching for just the right South African “tour” for a few years. Something that would include Cape Town and Safari, guided, very small group (there were only 6 of us including my husband and I), but with plenty of free time to explore on our own. This tour was exactly what we were looking for with the added bonus of a stay at a beachside resort in Durban at then end of the trip that was the perfect way to conclude our journey. The accommodations were 5 ⭐️all the way. From the incredible views from the 12 Apostles Hotel in Cape Town, to the small, intimate Amakhosi Safari Lodge private reserve in Pongola with it’s incredible staff and first class cuisine, to The Oyster Box Hotel (which is one of the prettiest, most delightful resort hotels I have ever stayed in) this was one of the best holidays we have ever spent (and we are seasoned travelers). I would absolutely book another African adventure with Lionworld Travel and will do so when we next venture back to the African continent. And I must say that although a 2 week holiday from the USA to South Africa isn’t cheap, I found the the rate for this holiday was very reasonable considering all it included and some of the top rated, award winning, accommodations to be had in South Africa.

One of my family members contacted Lion World Tours about a 3 person trip to Tanzania. After the sales rep made an itinerary I called her to ask some questions about the lodges and the pricing. I asked her if she had been to all the lodges herself (she hasn't, by the way), and if we could change one of them. She was then shockingly rude to me. She said that having 3 people contact her with thoughts was too confusing and that she can't work like this

My husband, daughter, her fiancé and I just got back from the Luxury Kenya tour and we were thrilled with the trip. All the accommodations were beyond our expectations. The food was outstanding but the best part of the trip was our guide Alex. He was knowledgeable and a lot of fun to spend a week with. You will not believe how close you get to the animals especially the cats. It's a lot of time in the safari vehicle and rather bumpy but so worth it. We did not do the hot air balloon ride.I would highly recommend this trip.

We recently returned from an African Safari to Tanzania. It was spectacular. Lion World organized and planned the entire itinerary. Their attention to all details was well done. Our special thanks to Jean Kadenhe for her organization and communication. It was a pleasure working with her. The Safari was beyond our expectations. Our personal tour guide Eric Swai, was so professional, knowledgeable and informative. This was a trip of our lifetime, and everything was perfect. Thanks again to all involved.

Lion world travel made our honeymoon safari arrangements. The trip was perfect! We had an amazing time and loved the hotels and guides they arranged for us.

Simply outstanding. I took my 4 grown children on the Classic Tanzania trip the end of May 2017. We saw every animal over and over and babies everywhere. Lion World through Costco were outstanding to work with. I travel 100,000 plus miles a year and when I say there was not one thing I would change about this trip, I am sincere. Keep in mind all the tour companies go to the same areas where the animals are most likely to be and I guarantee folks paid twice as much as Lion World charges for the same sights. The hotels were outstanding along with the food. 27 countries later, this was our favorite trip as a family. I paid, we showed up and they did the rest.Thank you Lion World, Cheryl you rock...

The whole experience with Lion's World Travel has been amazing. They are super accommodating and took care of everything. They responded quickly to all questions and concerns and were very informative. We did the luxury tented safari in South Africa and added on the trip to see Victoria Falls in Zimbabwe. Every place that we stayed had excellent staff, excellent food, beautiful locations and wonderful amenities. Our game driver was extremely experienced and made sure we were able to see all the animals that we could. All pick ups and drop offs were on time and helpful. I can't say enough about how wonderful our trip was because of Lions World Travel!
