Onyx Urgent Care

Staff was kind and efficient, the evening hours are great! Clinic looks pretty run down, a lot of walls needing repair, lights flickering, fire alarm was chirping the whole time and the bathroom is atrocious! My experience was good, but the state of the clinic needs some attention.

Horrible experience. This clinic should be banned after receiving so many 1 star ratings. I don’t want to pass an offensive comment, but the lady doctor is from hell. She is rude, arrogant, inhuman, and incompetent. She should not be allowed to practice. If you happen to visit the clinic when it’s about to close, better die than seeking help from this lady doctor. She keeps you waiting, keep laughing with her staff instead of seeing the patient who rushed in with an emergency. If she is afraid of prescribing medicines what the heck is she doing in medicine? I wish I could give ZERO stars.

Very polite people working in the front and nurse too. I get bad because the poor Dr I think was working solo. She went quickly but did the necessary tests and swabs. Then gave me two prescriptions and have me instructions on things to look out for. Thank you

First time being to this clinic. The receptionist and nurses were all friendly, attentive and professional. Didn't feel rushed at all. Dr Conte has a wonderful bedside manner. He listened to what I had to say and explained his diagnosis as well as what steps we were going to take moving forward. He also taught me something! Highly recommend!

Horrible experience here at Onyx, the receptionist was very rushy but not rude. The medical assistant and the Dr. were from hell, I could hear them discussing my issues in the hallway and the Dr. used profanity very loudly in the hallway. When she arrived in the room her attitude was poor and aggressive I almost thought I knew her personally. She even told me that she only have 5 minutes in the room with me and has to tend to other patients, I’m like what does that have to do with me? Horrible staff, horrible clinic, tiny uncomfortable dirty rooms, and horrible attitudes. I wish I had saved my money and go elsewhere because my visit here was not worth it neither was it resolved. I would never set foot here again, I didn’t even feel safe I questioned their credentials these persons can’t be real doctors and if they are they need to go to classes for professionalism. I would not recommend this clinic to my worst enemy!!!! Stay away from here there are many other urgent care clinics that treat you way better than Onyx. If I had stayed in this clinic one second longer I would’ve told the Dr. how I felt and it wouldn’t have been very nice. I left unhappy and went to another clinic and had the best experience.

Although they may have long wait times, the doctor and nurse are worth the wait! I was extremely anxious regarding some stitches I needed on my hand, and was in a lot of pain, yet the doctor and nurse with me helped so much! I mentioned I play piano and she put on some Chopin for me, and the nurse was honest and direct with me while still being very understanding. I felt so comfortable and am so grateful for the staff.

I always used to go to this clinic in the past. Experience was not that bad. But today, I had the worst experience ever. The nurse, who checks the blood pressure or fever etc and take notes of symptoms, was super rude to me. She didn’t even let me list the symptoms completely. In the past, I have mentioned multiple symptoms attributing to same problem , nobody would ever question that. But That nurse told me that there are thousands of patients waiting already and we don’t have time to discuss your symptoms. Then I asked for a photocopy of referral that was made last month by the doc, she looked up and said she found nothing. Although doctor was nice and he listened to me and pulled up the referral for me and also discussed the symptoms with me.Kindly hire some good staff who listens to patients calmly and know how to talk respectfully.

I had appointment at 01:00 today- cancelling it. I had to walk off from the clinic because I cant take you receptionist rude behaviour, anger, roolling her eyes. Seems like we have did something wrong to her. Clinic should be the place where everyone should be calm and smiling and happy as patients coming here are already sad with issues they are facing. I came with my wife here too- same rude behaviour of this receptionist. Today too same thing. Please fire her. It was way too disrespecting

The only reason I’m giving 1 star is because the receptionist and 2 nurses that I spoke with were nice. On Friday June 23, I took my son in bc he had trouble swallowing and high fever. The doctor that came in to look at my son didn’t even do his job properly. Looked in his ears and asked me,what complaints I have. I told him the concern was him not being able to swallow. Didn’t look at his throat nothing. He said it just a fever. He then perceived a spray for allergies, that may work, the pharmacist said it take a while to work.Still concerned for my son I took him to different urgent care and turns out he has strep throat. This isn’t good that you are playing with people’s health.

I’ve been here a few times before and the staff was usually always friendly. But today I come in for my appointment like 10 minutes late. I know it can be annoying when patients are late I understand that. I was just in a bunch of traffic that I didn’t think would happen. And I come in to the front desk and the receptionist was so rude I couldn’t believe it. She rips my health card out of my hand and is just rude the whole time talking to me. Never coming here again. I suggest getting new staff.
