Swiss Chalets Motel

Nice motel just off the main drag in hope BC, fairly quiet in the evening, but traffic starts up around 5:30-6 AM. I had a three night stay here as I was doing an event in Chilliwack BC through rooms were clean, quite dated, but we loved the old style designs and eclectic collection of old furniture that was still in pretty decent shape. The fellow that helped us at the front desk was pleasant to deal with. I would definitely stay here again.

Very cold room. Extremely uncomfortable in winter. Dirty carpet. Dirty old chairs.. No coat hangers. No extra blankets. Freezing cold.

Clean, comfortable and perfectly retro. Had a good bed and a huge old tub. Thanks Swiss Chalet!!

This motel is terrible, the room was dirty, no soap or haircare products, 1 towel for 3 people, all touch points were dirty, bugs in the lights, dirty rag under the sink, coffee maker dirty, the smoke detector was a drawer on top of a bible. God can't fix this mess. I would give this zero if possible. Avoid this place. I have seen the pics on the website and the room we had sure didn't look like the ones on the site. Dark and dingy not bright and clean with soap and towel and hairdryer.

On the surface a quaint and quiet motel with reasonable prices and small cabin style lodging. Upon waking and taking a fresh inspection of the surroundings initial impressions began to slip quickly. Issues that surfaced included discovering multiple blood stains of different origins on the pillows, bathroom fixtures and surfaces that were barely staying attached to the walls, organic free range mould growing in the coffee dispenser, bed side furniture and bedframe that threatened to collapse if looked at wrong, and a choice between non ceiling lighting or storing food in the oddly well cleaned mini fridge. Previous reviews with comments of 'bug carcasses in the lights' are incredibly accurate.When offered a chance to discuss the above discoveries in person while checking out at 10.30am, we were greeted by an empty front office with other suite keys lined up on the counter. Added key to the pile, took it as a sign to write this review.

Not an open room in Hope but somehow the manager found us one. Older motel but clean. Very friendly and helpful people. I would absolutely stay there again.

Bed was clean. AC worked. Some electrical work needed, broken lamp. Curtains falling down.

Coquihalla was closed so we stayed the night here, just glad it was only one night. It was really dirty. I keep asking myself, is that ketchup? The place is falling apart, it's dirty, moldy, bugs, etc. It's pretty gross, and I am glad we are leaving, and I can easily say, road closures or not, I will never be back here.

Very outdated. Very dusty, the second bed was falling apart, table was about to fall apart it was so rickety, grounds were nice and clean
