Northern Karate School Markham

If you're looking for a fun, inclusive environment to train and learn karate, this is it! I've been coming with my kids for over 10 years and have loved to be able to train at the same time. No matter what level you are at in terms of your physical capabilities, everyone can train at a pace that is comfortable for you. I highly recommend trying it out.

My feelings for Northern Karate Markham have not changed. In fact, my appreciation for this place has grown. It is a great place for both children and adults alike.Helping children develop the ability to defend themselves and to build confidence cannot be overstated in this day and age, and the teachers here are doing exactly that.They share their knowledge, instructing them on the best practises not just in Karate, but in life as well.Keep it up, NKS!!!

Northern karate school Markham is one of the best place I’ve found for Karate. I looked for 3-4 different options for my daughter after which I enrolled her over here. It’s so positive vibe that once my daughter started attending, even I enrolled myself in adult class. I must say, if you really are looking for excellence, came and give it a try for trial class.

It's a great place for anyone to learn karate. Especially with small kids, it's a good place to learn self defense and build confidence by staying fit. All Sensei are great in teaching and ensuring that the students pick up the best of karate. Parking is sometimes a challenge especially during tournaments or special events but i guess it's not a biggie.

Northern Karate's facility and staff are top notch. My child and her friend look forward to every class. The lessons often include some strength training and endurance through fun activities. The gym facility is great for parents who want a work out while their children are in class as well. I recommend giving their 3 month trial a try if you are interested.

My son recently started taking karate classes at Northern Karate School Markham and I couldn't be happier with his experience. The instructors are extremely knowledgeable and skilled, and they make the class fun and engaging. They take the time to make sure everyone understands the techniques and provides helpful feedback. The class is a great workout and I feel like my son is learning valuable self-defense skills. The owner and his staff members care about each and every student and ensure that they are always learning. All of the instructors are highly knowledgeable and make the classes both fun and impactful. Additionally, the teaching staff take to time to make sure everyone in class understands the techniques and always provides feedback to the students. The facility is state-of-the-art and includes a gym with a wide array of equipment. I highly recommend Northern Karate Schools Markham. Joining will be the best decision you make.

I am so happy to have found Northern Karate school in Markham! Their sensei are incredible with our kids and they always get them so excited to learn and improve their skills. In a short time, our children had picked up the moves taught to them with exuberance.The availability in their scheduling is amazing as you do not have to worry about making a class at the exact same time every day. Having that flexibility makes it so convenient - especially as life can get busy with other things!They also have some videos online which help our kids practice some of their moves. Overall, our kids have loved coming and always ask when they have karate! Knowing they are also gaining valuable life skills is a bonus. What a wonderful environment for children to learn martial arts!

Clean environment and amazing instructor , it’s great activity for kids, they can burn the energy and also learn the skills of how to defense , increase their flexibility and reflexivity ! I love this place !

My son has been attending NKS since 2017. He loves learning Karate. During last summer, he achieved his long time goal - black belt! It doesn't stop there...my son continues to attend as there are different degrees of black belt. It's a great martial arts place and they offer classes to adults too! The staff are great, the facility is huge and it's a fun family-friendly place. There is a gym for parents to workout while waiting for their child(ren) to stay fit. A win-win for the family in mind, body & soul/spirit!
