One of the best aqautic facilities in the city of Toronto.State of the art facilities including the three pools available for free public use 1. kids pool with an umbrella fixture that rains over it and fountains that spout into the pool. 2. A 25 metre lap pool divided into lanes according to swimming abilities. This pool also includes a rope swing and large slide with steps that lead to the top of it. These features are available during specific swim hours (see schedule) 3. A giant sized therapeutic/ hot tub with relaxation jets. The changerooms are open and available for all people with individual private change rooms. My daughters learned to swim here and it was just one of the reasons why we enjoyed living life in Regent Park for five years.

this is one of the best facilities in the neighbourhood (if not the best), and it definitely sweetens the deal for those living in somehow sketchy Regent Park. Leisure and lane swimming are free! a little unusual thing are co-ed change rooms. showers are right by the pool, so you can only shower in your bathing suit. there are lockers but you need to bring your own lock. most of people just bring their bags to the pool area, where you can keep an eye on them for all the time. the atmosphere is rather relaxed. the slow lane swimming is everything but lane swimming. people stop in the middle or change directions or just hang out to chat. the life guards are not overly strict, so it is usually up to other swimmer to explain to those new to the facility what the lane swimming is, and that there are certain rules (like keeping the direction). anyways, it can be a pleasant experience, but just be patient with others. leisure swim can be a bit wild, especially on weekends. people just walk in and out - again - the life guards are too busy doing their job I suppose to address people walking in to the pool area in street clothes, just hanging out or maybe waiting for their friends.the hot tub is still not available (as of August 2022) not sure when it's gonna be operational again. anyways, it's free so I can't complain. sometimes there is no soap in showers/washrooms, so you might wanna bring your own. a beautiful park outside - in summer you can just dry out there. the facility has hair driers though.PS> just read the recent reviews about thefts plaguing the place… maybe that explains all those people walking in and out the change rooms in street clothes… I wish there was more supervision. anyways, if you live near by just walk and don't bring any valuables with you. I keep my bag with clothes, a towel and shoes by the swimming pool, never gtt robbed yet (know the wood).

The facility is really nice , good swimming pool , nice change room. How, I was in lane swimming practicing, this guy was huge and swim really aggressively, Bumping everybody's in the lane, couple people complain to the lifeguard but they do nothing, The other guy decided to join the aggressive swimming style, He tried to swing surpass me but without proper skill he elbowed on my left eye cost me minor concussion. Those things will not happen if there is a proper lifeguard management to stop aggressive swimmers.

Award winning public facility! They usually play music, the staff is very friendly. Change rooms cleanness 4/5.Alternating change rooms makes the turnaround functional without running into the next or last group.Lockers available; bring your own lock.

I have never been to this place, but I have been to other city of Toronto pool facilities, with no problem with theft and using my lock. However, judging off the many google reviews of locker theft, I highly reccomend you guys bring your valuables and stuff onto the pool deck to keep an eye on it. If you keep your stuff in the locker, it WILL be stolen.

Great facilities, nice building and location however the water is too warm, the water is hard on the skin and there is poor ventilation inside. It’s at times hard to breathe particularly if you are swimming intensely. The pool at Wellesley Community centre is better ventilated and the water is also better.

Clean & child friendly, particularly for free swim. Staff did a good of dealing with a vagrant observer. Have to get there early for free swim at it reached capacity

Disappointment in Policy ChangesI write this review with a sense of sadness and disappointment as a long-time patron of our local pool. Once a haven of comfort and a cherished part of our community, the pool has recently seen changes that have had an unforeseen negative impact on some of us.Most notably, the decision to dissolve the women-only" hours in a bid to accommodate non-binary individuals has proven problematic. This slot was treasured by many women in the community

Awesome design and a great pool. Have been to a few public pools in this city and this one is right up there. So good to see the city doing the right thing and putting money into places like this pool where we can all benefit. I've seen other comments about things going missing but I've never experienced that myself. Love it here.
