We walked in and couldn't believe how expensive everything was! Definitely price gauging going on there! Not cool to take advantage of people!

Handy store that carries everything and very nice owners. Yes, prices are a little higher than normal as Karen err- Dawn's review below indicated, but she is likely from the city and doesn't comprehend that there is a cost associated with delivering items to a remote location (let alone in small quantities). Should probably stick to reporting price gouging in her locale within Toronto, prices seem good compared to making the drive to Parry Sound or North Bay.

Has a good selection. Staff is excellent. Best hours of any local store makes it my go to. Don't forget to grab a scoop of ice cream while you are there.

Busiest time of the year and they close at 4 on Sunday and 6 the rest of the week. Must not need the business I guess!!

In the spring you'll find a wide assortment of flowers and vegetables to plant in your garden.You can even post a letter at Buchanan's.Buchanan's is also one of only two places to gas up for the next 40 or 50 km and is a favourite stop for snowmobilers in the winter.Sisters Karen and Trish run the entire operation with efficiency and expertise. Trish is quick to tell me that she is the cranky" one but I have yet to see either without a friendly smile on their either of their faces."

Great icecream ample serving. The staff is very professional and helpful. There prices are competitive and what more can you ask for

Stopped for gas on my motorcycle here after finding Arnstein's was closed....ON A MONDAY....has lots of stock...hardware and some junk-foodAlso had premium gas which other place didn't have.But....Most importantly, a friendly staff.Thanks

We've lived here for 5 years and have found that these guys are the best and most friendly and knowledgable staff in the business. Delivery is free and they help put it in your house as well. Try that from any place else, curb service only for most if not all. Love shopping here.
