Brazeau Reservoir Loops

Great private sites a lake with clear water and sandy beaches. Few power boats makes this a must visit if you like to paddle.

Our campsite had a path directly to the beach that was only open to campers. Beautiful sand and water! Text message the manager for wood/water/ice. Great experience!

Close to home and a great way to spend the day! Love coming here! There is the big body of water as well as a cpl ponds. Camping available as sort of a free for all first come first serve secluded or wide open spots are available.

There are ridiculous rules like the amount of units on the site if the kids want to pitch a tent in our campsite why is that a big deal if I can fit it in the campsite why can’t I have it there i came later and drove myself to visit my parents after work and stay a night but i couldn’t park there cause it’s too many units! The caretaker came to the campground stumbling out of her truck to TELL US that we had one too many vehicles on the site, very professional. I rented the site for the day PAYED for the site and parked my car there so I could use the beach I payed for this site and the caretaker came and tracked me down on the beach to tell me if I’m not staying I need to leave. It’s a joke and honestly makes the stay very unenjoyable ruins it for everyone when you make issues out of nothing. When you need to make rules and enforce them just to amuse yourself you know u have an issue. Couple years ago when these ridiculous rules weren’t a thing it was a wonderful place to go now it’s a headache.

Wish there are little bit more develop such as washroom and water power etc other than that beautiful place!!!

We camped here twice this summer, once in Loop A and once in Loop B. It is a wonderful and beautiful campground that is well maintained. The managers are very helpful, you can buy firewood or bags of ice for a reasonable price. When the water level is low, areas of the lake have nice little beaches. We plan to come back many times.

Really amazing campground, with gorgeous, huge natural sandy beach. The water is perfect for swimming with families and dogs, with barely any weeds or rocks, gently sloped, and extremely calm water. The sites and outhouses are kept very clean, and all the campsites are really large with big mature trees. I gave 4 out of 5 stars only because we had a problem with wasps in our site (I was stung, and they swarmed every time we prepared food), and it's not the easiest drive to get there from Calgary. But that said, i would go back for that amazing beach and quiet, clean camping experience. Also fyi that because this is a reservoir, the water level does change substantially throughout the year. It was perfect when we were there in mid-August, but consider calling ahead so you know what to expect.

New management is great, very helpful!Excellent location and a well maintained park.Also, Sunchild Road is paved south to hwy 11 for anyone planning their trip and checking streetview (which shows gravel)

Great campground! Lots of privacy, great beach, good fishing. Rates are reasonable. Just making sure you bring drinking water.

Awesome clean and quiet campground with friendly on site management. Beach with in walking distance from A loop. The kids had a blast swimming. We will be back for sure!
