Been trying the Acorn phone numbers for months but no one answers.

Don't buy from this high pressure company. I called one time to find out what would be the price but turned out my sister decided to call a local company referred by her pharmacy. I received calls almost daily from Acorn following up. I picked up the phone and told the lady that my sister decided to go with another company and thanked her, that didn't stop her from calling on a regular basis and even now after 3 years from that very first phone call. For a company that was not asked to come to see the stairs or give me a formal quote, that is insane and should stop. If they continue to call, I will report them to BBB.

the product was not worth for the money we spent on.this stair lift keeps failing.They charged me $ 1100 for extended warranty, I called them more than 7 times, they did not send any one to look at it.if you buy their product you will loose your money.

They accomplished one thing and that is I will never purchase an Acorn product in my life. I will attach ropes to the banister before I purchase theirproduct. Knock it OFF ACORNHIGH PRESSURE. Once or twice a day phone calls is not the way to gain customers. Expecially when an email was sent to cease and desist becauseI was going into the hospital for major surgery.But here comes Gwen's daily annoyance....via phone.

Decided not to purchase the lift but the Sales Representative Jim Emery was very nice and understanding. Just would like to say he acted in a very professional manner. Thanks for your help Jim!

The 5 stars is from my aunt who decided to purchase the stairlift. Says Kelly was fantastic and very helpful with explaining everything to help her feel comfortable that she was getting what she wanted. And the technician, Gurvinder did an amazing job installing the lift and very helpful and patient with the demo.

Personally it hastened my father's death as he no longer needed to try to keep up his strength. Now after only 3 years of use we have $12,000 worth of scrap that can't be reused.

UPDATE **** Finally received some satisfaction and satisfactory customer service. The Technician arrived really late, but came to fix the problems I had with my chairlift. He went right to work and was helpful. He bent over backward to try to please me and alleviate all the problems I had been experiencing with my chairlift. Replaced the entire chair with a new one. Reinforced the rail to. Reattached the electrical cord at bottom of the stairs so nobody stepped on it or tripped. Overall was very pleased considering it took them almost a year to finally do something. Now will hope and pray that all my problems have disappeared. Only time will tell.We purchased a spanking, brand new Acorn chairlift. It was for my 89 year old mother in law who we needed to move into our home. It was necessary to order a chairlift because she could not climb all the stairs to the second floor. That was where her bedroom was. We made the importance of this very clear when arranging the installation appointment. Well low and behold on the day of the installation we received a call stating the installer couldn't make it, and the next available appointment would be in approximately one week. What was my mother in law to do for a week? After having a major hissy fit Acorn was able to arrange for an installer to come the next day. Well we purchased this shiny new chairlift at the beginning of last march and have been plagued with problems ever since. After paying thousands of dollars you would think it would work. No, instead we constantly have to call for a repair person. If you are thinking of buying a chairlift, when it comes to Acorn chairlifts, buyers beware. Run!!

The sales people are extremely aggressive. I sent in an online inquiry and spoke to someone, clearly said I would get back to them when I was ready and multiple sales people called multiple times daily afterwards. I have no idea what their products are like but would not even consider them after the poor, aggressive customer service.

This company has harrassed me for months. I have told them I don't want their product or them to phone me again and still months later I'm being harressed by this scam of a company. Do not give them your money and maybe if they go out of business they won't call me again
