Anytime Fitness Beddington

I signed up to Anytime Fitness just over a month ago and thought I'd wait to write a review so I could properly assess this facility.  During the 7 day free trial they offered me, I asked other patrons what they thought of this place and every single person gave it a positive review so that's why I joined.  It's been a great experience so far and I've been able to work out more often because it's open 24/7.My old gym was a city run facility that closed on holidays and had limited hours that didn't fit with my schedule. It's been terrific the be able to do late night workouts to help keep my health on track.  This place is spacious, has more equipment and better equipment and is clean and tidy. The staff are great especially Darius, the manager.  The other members I've met are super friendly so I'm glad I made the switch.

Was good! Wasn’t dirty like the other one. I went around 730pm and it was nice to see the bathrooms weren’t a hot mess and the gym was not too busy and people were more respectful and actually cleaning the machines from what I could see. However old school with the re usable clothes- eww people leaving them behind- maybe get rid of cloths all together. Sometimes our health precedents the apparent try to be more environmentally friendly, just an observation.

Nice gym. Not too busy at night when I go. Door to get it is a bit sticky tho, so hopefully it won't break again. Great water pressure in the showers, and really hot. Lots of equipment and a good selection to target lots of different workout styles.

The staff is helpful. The place is nice and clean to work out in. I like that it's close, and I can work out anytime.

It’s an OK gym. They’ll push you to pay for a trainer which is fine. But then they’ll ask for medical/health related questions advising you that they’re kept confidential, which they’re not. The potential trainer you may talk to might share that information with some guy overseas, while you were thinking only your potential trainer would know them. Then together they’ll use that information to trick you into paying for a trainer. The whole thing was totally unprofessional and uncomfortable.

Good sized gym for an anytime Fitness, however the mask policy as stated on the printouts is counter productive to public health.It is not advisable to workout wearing a mask, also if you have to repeatedly take off and put on the mask to move from workout station to another, that involves touching the mask then gym equipment which was absolutely what you don't want to do.Disappointed to see that they have a policy which has more harmful qualities than beneficial.

I really don't know what's up with this place, I signed up for a free day 7 pass and can't get a hold of them by email or phone. I've called and left a few messages now. So I ended up going to the Symons Valley location where I found out you can sign up for a free 7 day trial and you will get an email telling you to come in, but they won't honour the pass. Not sure if this is why this location doesn't answer the phone or emails, either way it would be nice if they could fix that issue, or just answer the phone to let you know they aren't honoring the pass anymore. I don't see myself ever going to an anytime fitness after this.

I have been here a few times, I think mostly on weekends, and today, the Monday of a long weekend. It's consistently one of the dirtier Anytimes I've been to. On top of not having adequate cleaning materials (the paper towel disintegrates as soon as it gets wet), their bathrooms are usually pretty dirty too, with no toilet paper, wet floors (they don't provide anything to mitigate this). There's lots of spots around the equipment that the staff don't clean, ie hair, dust, rolled up paper, paper towel, etc. Overall, I don't believe it's worth it to come to this location when others are all around better. I'm going to stop coming to this location.

It is a great place to work out, especially in the early mornings. The security doors finally work, so I'm not freaked out by some random showing up. They have steirlized spray bottles for most people to use as well wipe down cloths to minimize waste of paper towels. In general, machines are pretty clean. I've been here since May 2022, and the machines and seats still look new. The employees here are pretty good, but I rarely see them since I'm always here after hours. I would definitely recommend this place as it's fairly maintained.

Unfortunately the time I usually go to this gym is around 7-7:30. There are a few groups of young guys who hog a piece or a couple pieces of equipment for a long time. They are loud and obnoxious, they ruin the vibe in there. So many people don't take their damn outdoor shoes off and I have stabbed my hands on rocks on the floor due to this happening all the time. It's pretty horrible.
