The General

We had Dave come in and do our bathroom early in the summer. It was a small job and he was able to fit it in no problem. His team was great and didn't complain about the lack of AC in our house during the 30+ days. He was able to take small changes on the fly (I decided after the demo to swap out the beige baseboard heater for a white one). Now every time I walk into my bathroom and smile and wish I had done it sooner. I will definitely use him again for any of our other projects around the house.

Dave and his crew built a 300 sq. ft. addition on our home in 2021. The addition allowed us to expand our living room and one bedroom, as well as add an extra bedroom on the main floor. It also included more space in the basement. Dave’s crew were remarkable, most notably Joel and Jordon. They are a nice, friendly group of professionals. First off, I didn’t know where to begin when I wanted an addition for our growing family. I had a vision and some doodles. I sent an email to The General, Dave replied and was helpful right from the start. Dave reviewed my requirements and provided a ballpark to help get me started. Once we knew we could afford it, Dave provided design guidance based on my doodles and the budget we had available. So what can I say about them? They showed up when they said they would, did great work and went above and beyond in several areas. The only issue we had during our project was with the siding installation. The person contracted to do the work never returned to fix an issue. After several attempts failed, Dave had his own crew fix the issue. From this experience, I would say Dave is not someone who will leave you hanging. The agreed work gets done, he takes responsibility for his sub-trades, he is responsive to all inquiries and always replies in a timely manner. I would recommend The General and say that they are trustworthy and good at what they do. Bonus points for being bilingual too.
