Got an email from them today. I have paid all my debt before transferring or switching energy suppliers I have no clue as to why I still freakin own $827.31 from XOOM ENERGY that is already 2 years ago september 15,2020 I have not retained any records whatsoever. As a matter of fact I still have $350 deposit fee on that freaking company to relieve the headache on calling them about that claim numerous times i just let it go. Now the audacity of that xoom energy to put me on a collection agency Id say Foo get your records right and stop robbing people you guys already cause many troubles for me already xoom energy guest services are rude they will drop or transfer your call and pass u around if they cannot fix the issue its a fkin waste of time

I had a pretty good experience. I admit I did have an outstanding payment I missed from a hectic move that I take responsibility for and they were very easy and polite to correspond with when I made my payment.

Received an email for someone with the same last name and a similar first name as me stating I have an outstanding account and put me up for collection, when I called and explained that it is not me they said it is not their problem and I am out of luck, currently in the process of sending them to court. This is a scam. Beware. Do not call them. Do not talk to them. Report them to your local police. This has been reported to the Waterloo Regional Police Services. If you're reading this A1--you beware also. You have just tangled with the wrong bear. You got one star because I can't post without one. You don't deserve that. You deserve nothing but the full extent of prosecution.

This company won't stop harassing me. Been a year that they've also added and removed marks on my credit multiple times. Just got a 5th hit from them in under a year. Yes, I have a debt but find it odd that it would be sent to collections 2 weeks after being closed... Hmmm

Scam company. I mentioned the multiple reviews on Google saying they are a scam to the guy on the phone, who then started to swear at me. Just hang up, any real debt that is being collected, you'll know about it from multiple letters from the actual company you owe. Contact the company they say you owe money from and see if its real. If it is, they'll be more than happy to cut out any collector and get paid direct from you. These guys are preying on people who dont know any better. Shame on A-1 Credit Recovery - bunch of lowlifes.
