Dr Scott Russell - Podiatry & Orthotics - Vancouver

Having suffered close to immobility because I kept losing any feeling in bothmy feet I finally went to Dr. Russell. After a short consult, Dr. Russell examined my foot, explained what the problem most likely was and treated it right then and there. I am so happy I am almost in shock! It took about three days for the treatment to take and I have not had a problem since!I look at it as a podiatry miracle and a really smart doctor!

Upon arrival I was very excited to get my feet looked at as I was in a lot of pain. I was asked to PRE PAY $180 for an initial appointment which generally involves an assessment of your feet which ( which literally did not happen) is what the initial cost appointment is for. I get situated, Scott comes in and asks me about my feet, I explain about my podiatrist in Ontario and how he really helped my foot pain. he followed up with saying I’ve only had pedicures and I’ve never seen a real podiatrist. I said “ ok so what do you suggest I do to help with this pain” and he said “ you’re not a very nice girl” Scott is an older man, who made me feel very uncomfortable. He kept commenting that I must work out a lot and didn’t believe that I wasn’t an athlete due to “how blessed I am with my body” I’m confident he was trying to change his tune after his initial comment about me not being a nice girl. I was in a situation where I had already paid 180$ and I had to endure this uncomfortable conversation. I should’ve questioned it when I was asked to pay prior. Weird experience, it’s also more than the average podiatrist charges for an initial assessment but you receive the bare minimum.

Dr Russel is phenomenal. Quick, to the point and effective. Has been a Podiatry for 40+ years. Knows his stuff and fixed my back by fixing my feet.

Outstanding podiatrist! I had a very painful issue with my foot that another doctor was unable to resolve. I had a consult with Dr. Russell and he treated my foot right then. I healed within a couple days and am pain-free for the first time in months! Thank you Dr. Russell! You are amazing! ~Lesa K.
