Wirlpool customer service booked this local company for scheduled time between 8 am and 4 pm on Tuesday, and I took a day off from work, but a technician called the day to come between 4 pm and 6 pm in the evening. I was not available in the evening to take care of my kids and asked to reschedule. He said he would be available everyday this week, so we rescheduled to Thursday and I requested to come in as the earliest at 9 am. The technician said he would drive from Abbotsford, but confirmed to try to arrive around 9 am asap.I took another day off from work on the rescheduled day and he called me Thursday morning saying that he could arrive at around noon. When I was trying to argue, he just hung up the phone call. He seemed to complete a trivial work before getting to us and I was so upset I called back.My phone call was connected to call centre, not to the technician, and a female agent quickly put my call on hold for several minutes and came back to ask to reschedule if I was not satisfied to the provided time range. I was extremely frustrated and angry, and asked manger to talk. However, the girls at call centre were so rude all the time I called back and they never apologized their delays.Never deal with this company, PLATINUM!!! Terrible scheduling, never keeping the appointments, and terrible customer services!!!ONE STAR EVEN DOESN'T DESERVE.

Platinum fixed our Jennair Built In Coffee Maker when other appliance repair companies are choosing not to service them. It's specialized and finicky. They diagnosed the problem over the phone to save the cost of an in person visit. They managed our expectations on the time it would take to get the parts as they take weeks to arrive. He tried to fix the issue with one part but warned us if that didn't work, it would take one more part which in the end it did. We are very please our coffee maker is working and we don't need to deal with the cost of replacing it which would have been almost 10x's the cost and resulted in more waste.

Very disappointed with their lack of concern for customers time. Booked to come April 19th, I missed the techs call but called the office within 10 minutes or so and was told they cannot come today and had to reschedule. I changed my week to be home for this repair and to reschedule because I didn’t answer the phone was BS. In fact I was told they were over booked by their office person and clearly the missed call was their out to show up. They did not care at all but the benefit of their lack of concern I found another company that came today, fixed the issue with excellent service.

Great and prompt service but mostly honest.The best part was I paid for a one hour service call and I got a diagnosis in 20 minutes no hidden fees or surprises. I found them quite honest and I was able to use the 40 minutes remaining for installation of the no part. Therefore I was not charged twice for labor.Norm was very knowledgable and courteous.Very impressed

Unfortunately having to update my review as they fixed the symptom and not the problem. Now that my dryer is being properly fixed, it's pretty surprising it wasn't caught by Platinum - the fan is so full of lint it couldn't even turn, all they did was empty the condensation the broken fan created, never checking the fan itself. Nice people, everyone was lovely to deal with, unfortunate that the service was lacking.

Good day all!!My wife & I would like to give a HUGE shout out to Dale & the Crew at Platinum for the professional & caring way that they treated us regarding our frustrating Kitchenaid dishwasher issue.After dealing with 3 visits from other local “repair people” who could not rectify our problem, we were recommended calling Kitchenaid/Whirlpool who in turn directed us your way.After a 1st repair visit you informed us that the problem lied with 1 of 2 component parts which we needed to purchase and that the problem would be rectified. If only 1 of the parts was needed we were to be refunded for the “not needed” part, which we were.Shortly thereafter, the original problem reoccurred and we were told that it was either the entire bottom sump motor unit OR the computer mother board. We had already sunk approx $500 in repairs and another $500 approx would be needed to fix the issue. After hearing this news, we decided to cut our losses and acquire a new dishwasher.It was at this point that Dale (the General Manager) phoned us to tell us that an entire new lower unit for our machine had come into their possession and we were welcome to it at no charge to us. Dale even gave us his personal cell phone number to contact him directly if we had any issues.The bottom line is that even after 4 repeat service visits, we were only charged for the first one and Platinum was determined to help us solve our issue.They solved our problem, saved us many dollars, and everything is GREAT!I cannot recommend Platinum Appliance Service high enough! Rob was outstanding. Not only did he make sure to order all the parts we might need for a complicated induction stove repair (saving us from a series of repeat visits), but he also went the extra mile and found the source of a problem that had eluded the technicians on three previous occasions!

I had initially appreciated the fast response time and good communication from this service provider for a recent service call. However, my experience took a turn for the worse the moment the technician entered my home. I was taken aback by the technician's use of profanity, particularly the frequent use of the F-word, while expressing frustration about the new payment system they had to use. This behavior was unprofessional and off-putting.To add to my disappointment, the technician proceeded to criticize my refrigerator, mentioning that I had spent too much money on it and claiming that it was destined to fail from the moment it left the assembly line. In an attempt to resolve the issue, the technician simply unplugged a wire and declared the problem fixed." However
