Gulf Islands National Park Reserve

It's an interesting place, off the beaten track. Stayed here with a buddy in '17 and had some good rounds of cribbage and actually went for a good swim in the lagoon. The one thing no one will tell you is that it's directly below the planes taking off from Victoria's airport, so that was an unpleasant surprise the first morning. But I think if you went into it knowing that it wouldn't be so bad. Just go to bed at sundown if you're camping here and you'll be fine. The east side of the island is very fun to explore at low tide.

LOVE CANADA - these little out of the way places are such a blast to hit... you know the crowds will be elsewhere. Fun little island to walk end to end. Interesting brick piles all over this island... but no buildings. We found them oriented as seen when we arrived.
