I visited this great (not so little) cheese shop yesterday not sure of what I wanted and left with 2 of most spectacular cheeses I ever tasted. The staff here are great and extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their products which makes the experience of shopping for cheese much more enjoyable. I was served by the owner herself and she gave me several samples to try while helping me to identify the kind of cheeses I enjoyed best. I ended up going with the Bellavitano (amazing!) and the Beemster which is a really yummy aged Gouda. I'm so glad I discovered this place :)

Smallish location but with a fantastic selection of cheese and they'll let you try pretty much all of them. Last time I was in they had a magnificent 36 month Comté (in the gruyere family of cheeses). The friendly gentleman at the counter informed me that it's rare to see a Comté of that age outside of Switzerland. They also have some other great gourmet ingredients such as olives anchovies etc. If you're a cheese lover do yourself a favour and check this shop out!

Great selection of cheeses but make sure you are clear about how much you would like to spend up front, as there are no prices on the cheeses... I love the cheeses here but my partner has been surprised by high price tags of the cheeses after they cut it, weight and put the sticker price tag on it. Sticker stock!! No one wants to unexpectedly spend more than $20+ on a small piece of cheese...

The staff is nice and knowledgeable. We asked for recommendations for a friend who liked firm cheeses, we wanted some good variety and they gave us recommendations from Portugal, Holland and Canada. They have a wide selection of cheeses and other products. We picked some cheeses for ourselves and like the Five Brothers and Chemin Hatley. I will definitely come back.

I buy my specialty cooking items here, cheese, balsamic vinegar, oils. Being price conscious, I want the best bang for my hard earned buck. Come check the store out.

Amazing cheese located here! I was awestruck by the variety and the flavours. The staff were extremely versed in their inventory and will give you wonderful recommendations. You definitely need more than 5 minutes to visit this store because there is so much to see.

As a cheesemonger I understand what makes a great cheese shop. Friendly, knowledgeable staff, a wide and regularly shopped selection, and fair prices. Alex Farms Bayview is all of these things.
