Kindermusik of Thunder Bay

Susan’s Kindermusik of Thunder Bay has been a ray of sunshine for my son and I. We received a Gift Card for Kindermusik from a friend for my son’s baby shower (such a GREAT GIFT), and due to a series of unfortunate circumstances, we had to keep postponing our entry into the world of Kindermusik. Miss Susan has been compassionate, understanding, and kind throughout our struggles to begin our class. Now that my son is 16 months old, we FINALLY have begun our weekly Kindermusik classes, and our class has been the highlight of our day, each week. Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, we are not able to gather for Kindermusik in person, together, so we have been doing Kindermusik from home via Zoom. This fun, new experience has been a light during dark times, and a happy spot in our long and busy (but wonderful) days at home. It has been nice to practice Kindermusik from the comfort and safety of home. We cannot wait to do another class, and one day, hopefully soon, get together with other babies and their families, and unite in our energetic, playful, musical way! We have lots of fun, as we play, laugh and sing, and Miss Susan’s energy in our home is such a blessing. Miss Susan has followed her calling to provide her special talents to us, and we are so lucky to have such a dedicated teacher, who knows her purpose in life, and follows it. Thank you Miss Susan, as well as the other families who are participating in our first Kindermusik experience!

I cannot say enough good things about Miss Susan!! My son did 9 programs with her and he LOVED every single minute of them (and so did I)! She is absolutely amazing with children and I always looked forward to going to her classes. We have unfortunately moved 18 hours away from Thunder Bay and I am so sad that my second child isn't experiencing Kindermusik with Miss Susan. She is truly a gift to all children and parents. We miss her so much and anyone who has the opportunity to take part in her classes definitely needs to. You will be so glad that you did.

If you're reading this, then you're exploring your options with Kindermusik of Thunder Bay. My advice... REGISTER YOUR CHILD!!! I was skeptical about Kindermusik before having my son. How can babies/toddlers benefit from singing and dancing? WELL, THEY DO! The classes have a special way of advancing your child's cognitive and motor functions. And they're taught by an angel! Miss Susan has a gift, and she will help you develop your child into a GOOD person. But not only will your kid benefit from these lessons, you will too! Each class has lots of physical activities that will help get you into shape to keep up with your child. I've also learned so much about being a parent from my son's time in Kindermusik - whether it's just being in the moment with him, or the gentle advice/guidance Miss Susan offers. Soooo...sign your great kid up today!

Kindermusik is a wonderful way to introduce children to the foundation of music. Susan provides a supportive and friendly environment that keeps children engaged while instilling a sense of independence in them. It has been amazing to see how my children have developed their own appreciation for music through this program. While fun and interactive for children, kindermusik has also given me a place to meet and interact with other like minded parents. It is truly fun for the whole family!

I enrolled my baby boy in two sessions of kindermusik after meeting Susan and participating in a session with her through Bosom Buddies. It was amazing! My baby loves music and it was the perfect opportunity for him to explore and grow alongside other children his age. It is clear that Susan loves what she does and cares about the children she instructs. She is so invested in their growth and development and is very knowledgeable about their needs and milestones. We LOVE kindermusik!

Susan's Kindermusik is the perfect introduction to children who are preparing for Kindergarten. Music is at the forefront, but I believe Miss Susan's biggest impact on children is nurturing that early love of learning — whether it's music or the weather or how a city works. Our family highly recommends Kindermusik to preschoolers everywhere!
