It's been around so long, but is still exciting to be able to step over to Canada and step back. Landscaping is lovely and the Peace Arch is impressively large. Some swings and a fountain, but the sculptures have left, so there's not as much to look around at.

The park is beautifully maintained with lots of picnic tables placed far enough away from each other to have a nice time. I noticed Sikhs seem to feel very comfortable there and there were many families picnicking together. The Arch is super impressive to stand under and the people watching is fabulous!

Beautiful and well maintained park with nice facilities like drinking water, sitting tables and restrooms. Only thing we missed was a convenience store or a coffee shop where we could buy some refreshments. Everything else is great , worth visiting

Unique park on the US-Canada border. Here people from US and Canada can meet without going through immigrations. There are rangers who monitor that there are no illegal crossings but nothing is checked while you are in the park. Very peaceful and well maintained park. We had friends coming from Seattle whom I had not seen since I arrived in Canada 2 years back. It was good to see them. We had lunch together and spent quality time together. Looking forward to visit again.

Beautiful Park in a neutral zone. Park is full of hidden cameras. Parking on US side with small coffee shop. No parking on Canadian side. You will have to find parking a block away and walk to the park. Large open field with landscaping and trees. One older building with a large room, kitchen and bathroom for parties or weddings. Public bathrooms have an outside entrance. Close to the water so it is breezy. Can see the traffic coming and going over the border.Nice Park for picnics and dogs on leash are welcome. Must clean up after your pet!

Cool place to have picnicking & day out at the international border park, folks from either country (USA & Canada) can meet up without any documents requirements, parking lot on USA side is open from dawn to dusk and discover pass is required, else pay at meter $10/day. Huge park with lots of picnic tables and swings, also has covered area for group events.

It's wonderful to see both sides are able to come together in one area without the need to go thru a border patrol. Beautiful symbol for the relationship our two nations have with each other.

It’s interesting walking in the park, seeing both Canada and US flags and residents. The park is well maintained with pretty flowers, lawn, trees, ocean view and border gate. Early spring flowers are blooming here. We can also see cars waiting in line to enter or exit. Buy discovery pass (Washington state park pass daily $10, annual $30) at the stand.

A dramatic white arch rises from the green lawns and flowering gardens on the U.S.-Canada border at Blaine. Some may not realize that the international Peace Arch they pass on Interstate 5 is the principal feature in an iconic Washington Historical State Park devoted to peace and serenity.Peace Arch is unique among parks because it consists of two parks in two countries. The southern half of the park and the monument itself is owned by Washington State Parks and the northern half, by British Columbia Parks.
