Passing Paws

At a time of loss and vulnerability, Passing Paws has given nothing but exceptional support. For someone who has to go through with a passing of a pet, even the smallest display of empathy can be comforting. The courtesy nail & fur clipping in addition to paw prints were a delight in the midst of sadness. Forever grateful of Passing Paws in making this part of the journey less painful.

Highly recommended. We've unfortunately had two pets pass recently and used Passing Paws both times. The staff were extremely sympathetic and caring, and even included a fur clipping and paw print when we received our pet's ashes. Can't say enough good about our experience with them.

The staff are wonderful and caring! I highly recommend them for your fur baby. Their customer service is amazing! Brooklyn has such a comforting demeanour, it is always easier knowing she is looking after our babies.

My dog passed away unexpectedly in the early hours of Sunday morning. I honestly had no idea what I was going to do, the thought of leaving her till Monday was really upsetting so I hit the internet & immediately found Passing Paws & how they were available even on weekends. I spoke with Lisa & through my blubbering on the phone with her she was very kind & sympathetic & we arranged for her to come pick up Molly so she could be taken care of. I am truly thankful for her compassion & her understanding, she made a very hard situation easier for me to get through. I absolutely would recommend them. Not only their kindness & compassion, but I wasn’t penalized with an astronomical bill because my Molly passed away outside of Monday to Friday regular business hours.

I had a poor experience just this week. My 14 year old dog passed away on Jan 2 . I called the business the next day due to the holiday. Got the answering machine so left a message. I left until 10:00 am the next morning waiting for a return call. Still no call. Then I called a competing business and left a message. Within an hour, I received a call back.I did not receive a call back from this business until the next day. I said sorry but we went with someone else.This business talks about timely service but our family didn’t receive it. We didn’t need this to add to our stress of losing our beloved pet.

Honestly I was a basket case the day my pet of 18 years passed. Missy was very much a member of our family, and she had a very expressive personality in our home. Brooklyn with Passing Paws was very very genuine, and helped with all the details during our final day with her. I wasn't expecting a little paw print of Missy's to be included when she was returned, yet they took the time to make sure this detail was with us. Thanks so much for your honest, heartfelt, professionalism during one of the toughest days of our lives....

I am so incredibly impressed with passing paws. They are by appointment only, so you have time to say goodbye without anyone in the building inturupting. Brook is absolutely amazing! We recieved a beautiful urn with bailies paw print and name on it, three prints of her paw in ink, a nose print and a small container with some of her hair in it. We appreciate all of this so much. Thank you again for taking such good care of Bailie and for fixing the urn after we had a devastating incident following picking up her remains. We highly recommend passing paws to anyone experiencing the loss of their beloved furry family member.

Passing Paws After Care treated both my deceased pet and myself with the utmost respect, compassion, and understanding. Their response to my initial contact was quick and they were more than accommodating to meet my needs on a weekend. At no time was I subjected to any upselling tactics which I greatly appreciated while I was grieving my loss. Passing Paws After Care also completed the aquamation process within the agreed upon timeline. They were excellent in every regard.

My sweet Lady passed away very suddenly at the end of July and I was in complete shock. It happened on a weekend and I’m from out of town, they were so helpful and compassionate when I called to make arrangements. I really appreciate the setup of their facility and that I could take as much time as I needed privately to say goodbye to Lady before leaving her there. I arranged to have her cremains shipped to me and the mementos they sent along meant so much - they took her paw and nose prints and sent a lock of her hair in a beautiful little glass jar. I ordered a paw impression as well and it’s perfect. Losing a fur baby is a garbage situation no matter what, but they genuinely care and it shows, and having those final arrangements go so smoothly was priceless and well worth the two and a half hour drive. I have two surviving dogs and when their time comes (God willing I still have many years left) I will be bringing them to Passing Paws. I work in a funeral home and cannot recommend them highly enough.

Allegra passes away Friday morning. Found her around 5:30am. Since this place is appointment only and they text. I texted them around 7am asking if they can fit Allegra in that day. They responded and said yes that afternoon works. They are super compassionate. I picked up the remains 2 ish weeks later. Received a nose print, paw print. And ordered the ceramic foot print. Great quality, great care.
