What makes a good school is the community. Principals and teachers come and go but they do also make the experience. I can tell you every teacher I know would love to teach at this school. Even a person I know in the TDSB sends their child out of area to this school. Again, what makes a great school is the community which this has in spades.Is it perfect" no (thank goodness). I do not want my children growing up believing perfect is somehow normal. I want them to be challenged by different personalities and life's trials and tribulations

As a student of West Rouge Junior Public School for eight years, I can truly say that this is a wonderful school. I am nearing my senior year of high school now, and there have been so many lessons (like work ethic, perserverence, etc.) I learned throughout my years at West Rouge that I have been able to take into my high school career and plan on bringing to my post-secondary education as well. The staff at West Rouge are compassionate, kind, and make learning entertaining and inviting for students. Great abundance of sports teams (volleyball, track and field, basketball, slow pitch, folk dancing, ultimate frisbee, etc.), clubs (eco club, musicals, choir, etc.) and music programs (concert band/strings) await at West Rouge JPS. Wonderful school, wonderful community, wonderful staff. Definitely recommend.
