Worst service I received at this branch. I went in to request cash, the Teller told me that he is only authorized to give a fraction of the amount, but the manager can authorize the full amount. The problem was that all managers were in meetings and I have to wait until they are done. WHAT? I asked when will they be done, he said he did not know, and asked me to take a seat and wait, after waiting for more than 15 min already. I asked if one of the managers can step out to authorize my withdrawal, he said no. What kind of customer service is this? I ended up taking what he can authorize, then maxed out on what I can get from the ATM machine. Absolutely not acceptable, this never happened at TD bank. BMO needs to step up wrt customer service, or will risk me pulling out all my accounts and moving them to TD.

Horrible branch to go. I was told by the staff not to come to this branch and do banking to other.. his very rude.

Terrible branch! Try avoid them at all costs.I was at another BMO branch Saturday October 30, 2021, trying to buy a bank draft from my account there but failed. It turns out the branch manager Vanda at this 240 North Service Rd W, Oakville BMO branch has put a permanent hold on my money that was transfered in from this branch 5 WEEKS ago in September.To make it worse, the assistant manager on duty at this branch can't figure out the reason for this bizarre long hold from his/her own branch manager, so they try to get hold of Vanda to find out why, but she is extremely hard to be found. After making me wait for almost 2 hours, they finally found Vanda, guess what, herself also can't give out a legitimate reason for the hold. And she even have the gut to ask me why I need to access my own money, after holding my money for 5 weeks and my 2 hours wait for her at the other branch, as if it was her money, not mine, can you believe it?! If you think this is terrible, you have underestimated Vanda. I requested for an apology right after I finished the transaction that day, and made sure they have all my contact information, today, after 2 weeks waiting, I heard nothing from Vanda herself or 240 North Service Rd W, Oakville branch for that matter.I don't know what the branch has been cooking with my money for 5 weeks, its suspicious to me to say the least, and why they think they can treat their customer and customers money like that. What I can say is this, this branch is a terrible branch to deal with, and if there is a 0 star I could give them, I won't hesitate to give them 0 star.If you have extra capacity to handle more hassle and stress in your life, please visit this branch. If not, avoid them like the plague.

They never ever answer their phone given on website, so I went to this branch to reset my online login password. They said they did and gave me a new password and told me to go back home and try on a laptop or a desk top. After going back home I tried to login, but has the same issue and did not work. The most useless service I got and waste of time.

Refused to withdraw $2,000 cash with an excuse why I went all the way from Etobicoke to their branch (WHICH IS 15 MINS AWAY FROM MY HOME).

I expect my identity to be verified when I’m visiting another branch, which they did via photo id, both of my cards and then they called my cell to be sureI didn’t expect to then be interrogated by the managerWhat are you buying?Why can’t you use your card?You drove 4 hours to buy that?Why not e-transfer?Why didn’t you withdraw this amount from your branch before you left?Can you show me the ad for the thing you’re buying?By the time I got out I wasn’t sure of my identity either

It was my first time coming to this BMO location and never have I experienced such bad customer service. The teller, who I believe was named Amir, was incredibly condescending and rude. On my way out of the bank another customer said he couldn't help but overhear our conversation and that he avoids this teller everytime he comes due to bad experiences in the past. Clearly it wasn't just one bad day for this teller.

Complete lack of service at this branch, we opened new business bank account for our freight brokerage, was told to come to any branch to pick up a bank card and the employee working 5:45PM on 11/18 made up a reason of the top of his head as to why he can’t give me my bank card.I walked into another branch and got my card no problemat all... smh!!!
